KHAZANAH-PROTON PIRATISATION ROJAK WAFFLE!

Here are some FACTS based on Proton Holding's unaudited Accounts for the six months ended 30th September 2011, as filed with Bursa/Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) and MSM reports:

Net Tangible Assets (NTA) - $5,390,296,000
Paid Up Share Capital - $549,213,000
NTA per share - $9.81 - (1) divided by (2)
Khazanah recently sold its 42.74 % equity shareholdings in Proton for $1.291 Billion @ $5.50 per share to DRB Hicom Bhd. which is also listed on KLSE.
DRB is now controlled by that most favoured darling crony of BUMNO/BN, "investor" Syed Mokhtar al-Bukhary. He is of course the Scarlet Pimpernel of Malaysia as far as serial corporate acquisitions are concerned. He's here, he's there, he's everywhere, swallowing up State-owned and monopolistic enterprises with huge bank financed leveraged buyouts. Recently, Pos Malaysia (32.2%) monopoly was piratised to him/DRB by Khazanah for $623 million. Al-bukhary is also the front runner for the piratisation of KTM Bhd. (ex-Malayan Railways).
In justifying the sale, Khazanah's MD Tan Sri Dato Azman Mokhtar was widely reported to have said: "It's true Proton's NTA per share is $9.81 per share. Our cost per share of investment in Proton is NOT $8 per share. We did NOT make a Capital Loss of about $600 million ($2.50 per share). Our investment holding cost in Proton is below $5 per share. We will therefore book in a modest gain.
Do note that Khazanah MD wily fox did not say exactly how much "profit" Khazanah was booking in on the sale of Proton. And since it's classified under OSA, we'll have to wait till Pakatan comes into power to unearth that piece of vital information.

Elsewhere he was quoted as saying Khazanah's holding cost had been reduced to below $5 per share by dividends received over the years.

HUH? SAY WHAT?

I'm no chartered accountant or investment guru/expert. But according to long-established international and Malaysian accounting rules, the only time you write down the cost of your long-term controlling investment cost in a company by the dividend received is when you receive a dividend SHORTLY AFTER (within 1year) you have made that investment. In that specific instant, the dividend is deemed a return of Capital and NOT a return on Equity (investment).

So, what does Azman Mokhtar mean that Khazanah's holding cost in Proton had been reduced by dividends received over the years?

Let's be very, very clear.

Dividend income from equity investment is therefore 99.99% of the time treated as Return on Equity (ROE). The astuteness of MD's and their investment committees are judged by this % ROE benchmarked against risk free Fixed Deposit rate.

So, Tan Sri Dato Azman Mokhtar, MD of Khazanah, why the ROJAK WAFFLE? What are you trying to hide?

Here are some more FACTS:

Some years ago, Proton was controlled by DRB whose major controlling shareholder then was the late Tan Sri Yayha Ahmad.
Proton was subsequently bailed out by Petronas which then got rid of it to Khazanah.
Since Dr.Mahathir retired as PM in 2003, he's been THE paid "Adviser" to both Petronas and Proton.
Proton's Chairman since January 2009, Dato Nadzmi was once an executive in Petronas and later MD of Proton from 1993-1996.
In 2006, Proton sold its investment in motorbike manufacturer MV Augusta of Italy for Euro 1, thereby realising an investment loss of over $500 million. Mahathir and his handpicked CEO Tengku Mahaleel who were both involved in the original acquisition of MV Augusta claimed they were not consulted in the Euro 1 disposal!
Proton, like so many of our mollycoddled and cosseted lame-duck Government Losing Concerns, has been suffering from serious High Level Management problems like, since, forever. That's palpably apparent to even any average standard six student. High Level Management problems compounded by even higher level paid "Advisers".

I mean, Dr.Mahathir was again apparently NOT consulted when PM Najib bulldozed his way through with the appointment of Dato Mohamed Omar Mustapha Ong as Petronas Director after elbowing out of office its objecting and long-standing, internationally acclaimed MD, Tan Sri Hassan Merican.

And guess who else sits on the Board of Directors of Khazanah?

Why, none other than Tan Sri Dato Nor Mohamed Yakcop who was once asked to leave Bank Negara for losing some $10-$30 Billion in forex dealings, when Dr.Mahathir was Prime Minister!! Now, some 15 years later, he is also Minister in charge of our Economic Plundering Unit, having before that been Finance Minister II??!! Wtf?

Before Proton was sold to DRB, Dr.Mahathir was openly championing a management buy-out proposal by Chairman Dato Nadzmi. Mahathir and Proton CEO Dato Seri Syed Zainal Abidin had also rammed through a $2.4 Billion 5-year Turnaround Plan for its UK loss making Lotus Motors. But this week, Mahathir is talking about selling off Lotus.

Don't you think there's something very sickeningly incestuous in all this?

Today, Mahathir's been praising to the skies Proton's latest 1.6 litre engine car, "to be released in a few months". If the prospects are so good, why sell anything to DRB?

Why sell Proton to Syed Mokhtar Bukary for $5.50 a share when its book and unrevalued cost is $9.81 per share? An early Hari Raya gift to al-Bukhary, perhaps?

Why after 25 years is Proton still uncompetitive and needs protection and crutches in the form of 150% Import Tax/Duty and $30,000-50,000 per Approved Permit (AP) cost for imported cars? And hasn't DRB, like Naza Motors, been raking in $Billions these past 25 years, being one of the main beneficiaries of selectively allocated and freely awarded AP's?

Now, can we all see where the source of all Proton's problems have descended from all along and why the continual dithering? One stop forward, two steps back? You bet!

Medical doctors forcing their understanding of kitchen economics on $Billion enterprises, Bernie Madhoff fake forex losers, looting and plundering and amateur MD's, please get out of Proton, DRB, PNB, Khazanah and the like today, NOW! You are killing Malaysia and propelling it towards bankruptcy and 4th world status.

Get the professionals in now, even if you have to swallow your pride and court the experts from abroad.

Ultimately, this Proton fiasco may have been engineered by God, I think, to once and for all free it from the clutches of that interfering busybody amateur, Maha Firaun and that management washouts ridden and infested and secretive National Treasury Body!

Last we heard, our Civil Service budget costs $40 billion per year and that the breakdown for its 1.2 million personnel, assuming pro rata cost, is:

1. Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guards etc - 220,000 costing $7 Billion.
2. Police/Fire Brigade etc - 220,000 costing $7 Billion
3.Balance, Mandarins and their staff = 780,000 costing $26 Billion.

If the APCO led spindoctoring apparatus of PM Rosemajib is to be believed, over and above this, we now have:

1. Additional 2.2 million RELA members costing us @ $500 per person per month, $13 Billion a year.
2. 650,000 National Service Volunteer Brigade (NSVB) members costing us at say, $500 per person
per month, $4 Billion a year.

Adding all together, our known to be serially lying PM Rosemajib and Spindoctor APCO are now saying that we are committed to fixed cost of $57 Billion + $10-15 Billion every year for the PM's own department to pay Roti Kaya Jala's salary etc., (which is more than Obama's and yo mama's budget)!!

And he has the cheek to say we should not become a Social Welfare country, and advises USA and UK not to print money?

Is there some kind of a plan here?

You betcha ass, there is!

Many of our Government Losing Concerns (GLC's) are suddenly going on a peculiar spending spree:

1. S.Darby's $776 million 30% acquisition of E&O Bhd. Plc with a 60% price premium, despite SD having an award winning property developing subsidiary in its stable. Allegations of massive insider trading by the husband of the Security Commission's (SC) CEO, and others, have been flying around. More than that, as disclosed by Straits Times Singapore, the top three at the SC over-ruled the findings of their own investigators that SD should make a General Offer to all shareholders of E&O and not just 3 of the major shareholders.

2. PNB has made a unsolicited offer to acquire all the shares of SP Setia Bhd. Plc, another property developer. The cost will be in excess of $2 billion. This is another mystifying move by PNB given that together with EPF, Socso and other GLC's, it already has over 51% control. EPF has also substantial stakes in other property development Plc's such as BRDB, TTDI etc. Why is the government allowing this when it has, through Khazanah and PNB, material and substantial stakes in Sime Darby, UEM etc. which are all big boys in the real estate development sector? UEM's acquisition of Sunrise for $1.4 Billion in 2010 is another of these eyebrow raising deals.

Why is a government investment holding body getting involved in management and the actual running of Plc?
After the balls up in USA, UK and Europe, you'd think they'd be wiser here? No?

3. Robert Kuok, it is rumoured, was made an offer he could not refuse by the Government to sell his sugar business for $1.5 billion to Felda. Subsequently, the Government allowed the controlled price of sugar to rise from $1.45 in 2010 to $2.30 per kg (60%) , which besides Felda, also benefited Tradewinds, controlled by Syed Mokhtar Bukhary. Apparently in retaliation, Kuok established the world's largest sugar refining factory in Australia costing some $10 Billion, and sabotaged PM Rosemajib's bid to get China to buy oil palm oil. That's serious Kuok talk indeed!

4. EPF, PNB and Khazanah have also gone on a spending spree investing in real estate in London, Australia nad Singapore, purportedly for higher returns. But according to Roti Kaya Jala and APCO $1 Trillion Economy Transformers, the best real estate investment opportunities are to be found locally, at:

Sg.Buloh land, Selangor - 3,000 acres
Sg. Besi old Airport land, Kuala Lumpur - 495 acres
Pudu Jail land, Kuala Lumpur - 22 acres
Iskandar Regional Development in Johor
Real Estate development in conjunction with MRT development in the Kelang Valley

5. PNB wants to put up a 105-storey office tower at the historic Merdeka Stadium site, where the minimum cost will be $5 billion, in the midst of global slowdown and commercial property glut in KL?

6. MAHB has committed an additional $2 Billion to expand its LCCT project based on Air Asia's unstudied projection of 45 million passengers traffic by 2020? And now wants to issue $500 million new shares to finance it when only last year its Chairman said they would not be raising funds from the public?

So, what gives?

In 1981, PNB under Maha Firaun's orders mounted a dawn raid on the London. Stock Exchange. It eventually led to the takeover of Guthries' by PNB. Well, perhaps that was only right since all these colonialists had cornered our raw materials and were exporting tyres and tin cans back to us at inflated prices.

But where is Guthrie's today? Why, swallowed by the Sime Darby merger initiated by CIMB (controlled by Rosemajib's brother) for a fee in excess of $500 million, supported by PNB, Khazanah and EPF and declared "an unqualified success" by CIMB and SD's Chairman Musa Hitam (former Deputy PM of M'sia). So unqualified a success that today SD trades on the KLSE at about 50% of the combined pre-merger share prices of SD, Guthries and Golden Hope!!??

So, do all these come under the umbrella of some kind of a warped re-colonizing master plan hatched by the "Boys" at 5th Floor Putrajaya??

Only thing is, all these businesses being taken over for $ Billions were/are mostly controlled by local Malaysian Chinese tycoons. It seems to have escaped the minds of all these bigwig "super patriots" at PNB, Khazanah and the 5th Floor Boys at Putrajaya that these tycoons started from scratch and built their success by dint of rolling up their sleeves and getting down to sheer, hard, mind and body numbing WORK. Know how built up from practical experience and failing many times. You can't buy lasting success, only build it slowly and steadily.

And in the final analysis, they are Malaysians, not British colonialists or aliens. So, why is PM Rosemajib encouraging the Malaysianisation of what is already Malaysian owned?

Or, is there another kind of thinking that they are really "pendatang" 2nd class citizens who are expendable? It recently came to light in a report submitted to the UN by our Government that the actual Malay population in Malaysia hovers at just about 51%. So, wither Ibrahim Ali's shameless claim for 67% share of the economy by prolonged enforcement of NEP?

More worrying is the veil of secrecy behind which all these wheelings and dealings are being conducted. Who brokers these deals? Who is paid what commission, especially for $ Billions for flotation of sukuk bonds and $8 Billion PetroSaudi deals where an astounding 25% return was fictitiously registered without taking into full account investment period and time value of money?

With this massive thoughtless spending and committing future Governments and citizens to the burden of fixed cost amounting $ Billions every years, PM Rosemajib has clearly embarked on a scorched earth policy.

He is signalling furiously that he's already lost GE 13 and that his actions will be dictated by spite and contempt for not only the Opposition, but also for the ordinary people of Malaysia.

PhD CEO "CONNED" INTO WRITING $1.76 MILLION ATTEMPTED BRIBERY CHEQUE? IS THIS A JOKE?

If there was any doubt before that I Polis Raja and Malaysian Association of Cows & Carse were the the henchmen of BUMNO/BN and no longer independent investigating agencies, then their handling of the $250 million National Fcukupalot Corp "investigation" leaves us in no doubt whatsoever.

Even before this fiasco, their bias was evident:

1. When information found in Teoh Beng Hock's laptop were leaked to a website TJ4TBH - Truth & Justice For Teoh Beng Hock. Given that the laptop had been in the custody of I Polis Raja or Malaysian Association of Cows and Carse, it needs no further elucidation who the leakers were.

2.The Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) into the death of Teoh Beng Hock branded a Malaysian Association of Cows & Carse Chief Investigating Officer a liar.

3. The truthfulness of an ex-Inspector General of Police's testimony was questioned by the judge in the trial of ex-Director of Commercial Crimes Department, Dato Ramli Yusuff who was acquitted without his defence being called, on charges pressed by the Malaysian Association for Cows & Carse. Ramli had alerted the AG's office about the possibility of an ex-IGP's links to an Ah Long organizations and Triads.

4. Two Investigating Officers from Malaysian Association for Cows & Carse had their credibility and work ethics shot to pieces in the vindictive prosecution of lawyer Rosli Dahlan who defended ex-Deputy IGP Ramli Yusuff charged with corruption. Why vindictive? Because the Malaysian Association for Cows & Carse had filed charges by relying on the testimony of Moo Sai Chin, a known criminal, self confessed briber, murderer, pimp and everything else that an underworld kingpin can be!

5. When to-date neither I Polis Raja nor Malaysian Association for Cows & Carse have filed charges against an ex-Chief Justice and a lawyer involved in the Lingamgate affair for fixing the appointment of judges and for corruption despite being recommended to do so by a Royal Commission of Inquiry. A Nazi Minister replied in Parliament that 'the authorities are still searching for independent witnesses" despite there having been independent witnesses galore at the RCI!!

So, is anyone surprised that lawyers N.Surendran and Latheefa Koya held a Press conference blaming Malaysian Association for Cows & Carse and I Polis Raja for leaking information and misinformation that a certain businessman person had denied being instructed to bribe I Polis Raja? That such leaks were blatantly false and not supported by Statutory Declaration sworn affidavits filed by that certain businessman person?

It's incredible that when the Bangsar $10 million Condo Cowgate scandal first surfaced, Malaysian Association for Cows & Carse passed the buck to I Polis Raja saying there were no elements of criminal corruption for investigation?/!! Then, at the height of the BUMNO General Assembly, I Polis Raja came out with a statement that all was hunky dory at $250 million National Fcukupalot Corp - no ground for CBT, theft, misuse of corporate and government funds or abuse of authority or breach of company laws or terms of use of Government Loan.

Now, they are in the midst of "intensive and thorough investigations of $250 million National Fcukupalot Corp"??!!

Of course, it goes without saying that "no stone or bull will be left turned" in I Polis Raja and Malaysian Association of Cows & Carse doing their natural duty to the Rakyat. Our serially lying Prime Minister Rosemajib once said that " no stone will be left unturned" in determining the cause of death of Teoh Beng Hock. We are still waiting, so there must be billlions and billions of stones, which explains all this slow pace of turning or not turning them.

Now, we have to scratch our heads and ask how the CEO of $250 million National Fcukupalot Corp, a PHD holding ex-University lecturer I believe, can claim he was "conned" or "tricked" into signing a RM1.76 million cheque over to a "con-sultant" who was then arrested and charged, not with attempted bribery of I Polis Raja as originally reported, but with "deceiving" the CEO into sign a cheque?

Who were the I Polis Raja officers who were approached and why was this lot picked?

Do they give away PhD's to anyone who asks for them at our Uni's?

Why has the CEO of $250 million National Fcukalot Corp himself not been charged with attempted bribery?

How did this happen when the PhD holding CEO also has a Minister wife to advise him and three of his children (earning a total of $100,000 a month in salaries, it has been alleged) work together with him at $250 million National Fcukupalot Corp?

Is it I Polis Raja's contention that the PhD Holding CEO of $250 million National Fcukupalot Corp was charmed (jampi'd) by some Kampung Baru Bomoh (shaman) into signing the $1.76 million cheque while in a foggy trance?

When will this charade end?

It's quite one thing to be plucked from under the shell of obscurity and an iffy reputation as a "turnaround specialist" and be parachuted into Mana Ada Sistem (MAS) Airlines as CEO with a $1 million a year remuneration package, excluding bonus and share option. Though, we never were told what exactly he turned around in Shell, were we?

Then again, it's quite another to be suddenly and ignominiously VSS'd from MAS and be appointed Senator, Minister Without Portfolio and be hastily positioned behind the steering wheel of Performance & Gundu Delivery Unit (PEGUNDU) of the Prime Minister's (Rosemajib's) Department, as CEO with a $1 million a year remuneration package, excluding bonus and share option.

Quite courageous actually, of Roti Jala, to accept Rosemajib's poisoned chalice to effect $1 Trillion ETP, EPP, GTP, NKEA/NKRA economic programs, when by his own (Roti Jala's) estimate, the Federal and State Treasuries were all broke from financing dodgy projects like National Education, Health, Welfare, Transport and Defence.

Of course the $500 Billion expended on submarines that don't sink, jet fighter planes that don't fly, $250 million cows and big tits being milked in $10 million Bangsar and Orchard Road condos, $9 billion and 600-year toll highway concessions and the like had absolutely no effect on our sinking piggy bank.

But then, in the parlance of 'Yes, Prime Minister' and its semantics, "courageous" equates with "congenitally stupid".

Now why was Roti Jala, a Christian Orang Ulu Kelabit Sarawakian Asian Bumiputra Malaysian cashiered out of MAS with indecent haste the minute Rosemajib was appointed the 6th Prime Minister of 1 APCO (Not Israel) Asian Malaysia?

There is no rumour to the truth that Rosemajib's predecessor, the reportedly affable but clueless (yet cunning when it came to personal finances) sleeping PM, Rip Van Winkle, was not told that the Christian Orang Ulu Kelabit Sarawakian Asian Bumiputra Malaysian Roti Jala was actually, NOT a Muslim, and ergo, not a Malay by our towering glocally drafted Constitution!

This had been grating on BUMNO's sore ass like a wedgie itch that cannot be reached. So Hang Tuah's Keris (it's only a myth, not real - refer Emeritus Professor Hang KKK) came out as soon as Mopeydopeymuhymaidin and that rAPidfire Iron Lady of Black Exhausts backstabbed Rip Van Winkle into premature political oblivion.

And therein we can see the different management styles of Rosemajib and Rip Van Winkle.

RVW belonged to the Marah (Angry) University Seagull School of Management, where the Chiefs would fly in from some place like Woolaboogahloogah, Perth in Australia even though they lived in Kuala Lumpur, go round in circles, flap and make a lot of noise, crap on everything, and then exhausted by having achieved nothing, leave for Hawaii or Tahiti to recuperate.

Firstly, assuming Najib has been quoted correctly, 2.8 million RELA members constitute more than 10% of the population of Malaysia!

Wow, that's an incredible statistic by any standard, is it not?

We need 2.8 million RELA members to monitor 2 million illegal immigrants, and possibly snoop on Iranian drug kingpins and their Malaysian mules, not to mention the Nigerian con artistes who have made Malaysia their lovely home away from home due to some very compliant on the spot visa issuing officers at KLIA and the Malaysian High Commission in Abuja?

I wonder, I just wonder if we employ 2.8 million police personnel in Malaysia?

Answer: After googling, it would appear that as of 2007, the police force numbered 150,000 with plans to increase it by 60,000. So, we can now safely assume that number is about 200,000 police officers vs 2.8 million RELA members. Does this make sense to anyone?

And you can bet your bottom dollar that with UMNO and Najibs' NEP preferred policy of quantity over quality, the vast majority of RELA members will be SPM Grade 3 or 4 achievers or less.

Ours is one of the few countries in the world where failure and mediocrity is repeatedly rewarded with largesse and riches financed by mugging the taxpayers continuously.

More than that, we have a combined Army, Navy and Air Force headcount of about 200,000. So, WTF is going on PM Najib? Are you, like Hitler and his "Brown Shirts', trying to create your own 2.8 million strong paramilitary army, answerable only to you and UMNO, thereby bypassing the authority of our King and the Genereral, Admirals and Wing Commanders?

Your own litle cosy Nasty Nazi Club? This is Federalism gone berserk and the Treasury being looted.

Next, let's do some simple arithmetic.

Assuming each RELA member is paid an average allowance (RELA members are not entitled to any salary) of only $300 per month, that amounts to:

a. $840,000,000 or $840 million per month, OR

b. $10,080,000,000 or about $10 BILLION per year!!!!

And Najib just gave them a 50% increase in their allowance rate from $4 per hour to $6 per hour.

This means the cost to the Malaysian Taxpayer will rise to $1.26 BILLION per month or $15.12 BILLION per year!!!! This is what will bankrupt our Economy!

I have worked on average figures. Surely there are senior RELA officers who earn more, which will push the financial burden up even further.

Where is the money coming from and really going to? Can anyone confirm if a humongous printing press contract was recently awarded to an UMNO/Najib croney?

The Government (according to our home grown Kelabit Christian Bumiputra scam artiste, Roti Jala) can't subsidise Education, Health, Welfare (but can subsidise, $10 billion per year to IPP's, Petronas bailout of Tenaga for $2 billion due to managment fuckups and inflated $ 9 billion unwanted Banting-Taiping 60-year toll highways) but somehow can find the $10-15 billion a year to empoy part-time RELA members? And Roti Jala says 10% GST is inevitable?

So, how and what should we read into this latest posturing from our flip-flopping/ U-turning Prime Minister?

Firstly, "When the chips are down, RELA will be with this government to defend the country. Do not cause havoc in this country because the 2.8 million RELA members will not stand idly by and watch the country descend into chaos," is a clear threat aimed at stifling opposition to the Police State that Najib is intent on creating, if it has not already been achieved.

Let's be very, very clear. RELA is not Constitutionally empowered to defend the country. That is the role of the Army. You don't engage rank baton wielding amateurs to defend us against another improbable invasion by Indonesia or Japan.

Assuming electoral reforms are not put in place before GE 13, then Bersih 3.0 is a looming reality. Of course, Bersih 3.0 organizers will apply to the police to hold their rally under the Peaceful Assembly Act and the police will respond kindly and positively and say, yes, go ahead, you can hold in Gong Badak Stadium in Terengganu in 2020, provided Perkasa and UMNO can have their opposing rallies in KLCC. So, caring, evenhanded and totally objective will our IGP be.

Either way, UMNO and Najib will lose as they did locally and internationally vis-a-vis Bersih 2.0 and the Anwar Ibrahim persecution, trial and innocent verdict. Because Najib misread the sign and tidal wave of our times and exercised pathetically poor, but predictable, discretion.

So, Najib thinks that his sabre rattling and exhortation of all these SPM Grade 3 holders will put real fear in the hearts of Malaysians? Once again he's behaving like a school playground bully, displaying the IQ and the mental equivalence of Quasimodo's hump, and being spineless about it as well.

"Kumpulan Xxxx has officially obtained the contract to build a RM7.07 billion highway linking Banting (Selangor) and Taiping (Perak). Xxxx said its 64.2 per cent-owned Xxxx obtained an approval letter yesterday from the Public Private Partnership Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department.

Releasing details of the project yesterday, Xxxx said the West Coast Expressway will cover 316km. Of this, 224km will be tolled, while 92km will be toll-free. The project is based on build-operate-transfer with a concession period of 60 years, Xxxx said in a statement to Bursa Malaysia yesterday. Xxxx has secured a government support loan (GSL) of RM2.24 billion to “enhance the viability of the project”. The soft loan will kick off in 2013 at an interest rate of 4.0 per cent per year and an interest subsidy of up to 3.0 per cent from commercial loans for a period of 22 years.

The terms of the GSL and interest subsidy will be finalised by Xxxx with the Ministry of Finance, Xxxx said. It noted that toll revenue in excess of an agreed traffic volume will be shared on the basis of 70:30 between the government and Xxxx until full settlement of the GSL and subsequently, 30:70 after the settlement of the GSL. The government will bear some RM980 million cost to acquire land along the highway construction.

Xxxx, meanwhile, will call for open tenders for main construction works. Proper concession agreement will be signed between Xxxx and the Works Ministry upon clearance from the Attorney General."

Well, let's analyse this Public Private Partnership deal approved by none other than our Prime Minister, Najib Tun Razak, recent recipient of the 'Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award" presented by the bootlicking and brown-tongued Michael Yoeh and Lee Kim Yew (ex-Mahathir croneys) of World Chinese Economic Forum (WCEF). Don't all rush to the toilet to puke at once. Please.

1. It matters not a hoot who Xxxx is since it's a direct negotiation contract i.e. a guaranteed crony deal

2. The construction cost of $7.07 billion works out at $22 million per kilometer. Why? The international norm is about $10 million. It is a rule of thumb in Malaysia that where huge $Billion so-called "privatisation" (locally dubbed "piratisation") contracts are awarded by direct negotiation, especially by the Economic Plundering Unit/PM's Department or Ministry of Defence, the real cost is about 1/3 to 1/2 less.

By that reckoning, $22 million/Km is spot on! Hooray! Well done, Rosemajib!

Now, where does the differential of 1/3 to 1/2 go? To buy more US$200,000 per Birkin Handbags and fling it on shopping jaunts in Sydney, Dubai, London and New York, perhaps? Little wonder Malaysian fraudtrepreneurs and sovereign investment funds are all falling over themselves snapping up failed English football clubs, F1 franchises, Turkish healthcare companies, Singapore, London, USA and Oz real estate, (overpriced) banks in Indonesia etc. Or maybe to finance the $1 Trillion e@con.o,my god! transformational program policy of "You scratch my balls, I'll scratch yours. No we don't bribe for or buy votes"?

3. The real cost is of course $7.07 billion + $980 million land cost + interest subsidised by Government at 4% on GSL of $2.24 billion + further Government subsidy of 3% on commercial loans taken by Xxx. Do remember the last time the Government "supported" a "piratised" loan, the market took it to be a guarantee and today we, the over-flogged Malaysian taxpayer, are left holding PKFZ's $12 billion liability, while looking for space to rub our over-scratched two orbs in disgust as the former MCA Chief Ling Liong Sik is being prosecuted for "misleading his (wooden) cabinet colleagues".

4. Why a 60-year concession to Xxxx? This is a world record for any highway project. Show us the numbers. Don't hide it under the Official Secrets Act. Why are you PM, burdening us, our children and theirs? I am especially keen to discover what the projected traffic flow is. We are sick to our stomachs of you Plunderers conjuring up stratospheric stats and then passing the buck to taxpayer for compulsory compensation to the tune of $Billions when unrealistic projections cannot/will never be met.

5. "Xxxx, meanwhile, will call for open tenders for main construction works." Xxxx is a real estate development company whose finances are dodgy and led by a businessman whose $391 million liability to the Selangor Government had to be restructured by Menteri Besar Khalid or else a few local banks would have gone bust! So, in the interest of transparency, dear PM, please advise us why Xxxx was awarded this toll highway construction contract, one where the size of the project comes in at less than half of the NS Highway and at more than 3 times (300%) its cost?

And if Xxxx is going to sub-contract this >$8 billion contract even with so much Government subsidy, why can't the Government do it 100% by itself through the PWD/Malaysian Highway Authority AND NOT BURDEN THE RAKYAT AGAIN AND AGAIN WITH MORE AND MORE TOLLS!!? Wtf does Government exist for if public works such as these are not undertaken fully by itself? Before "piratisation" became UMNO/BN's calling card, our PWD used to handle the A-Z of these jobs. Why can't they do it now?

5. Who studied the viability of this project and recommended it? The Plus NS Highway is only problematical during festive seasons and long week-end holidays. So, who says the NS highway is over-clogged and we need this Banting-Taiping link at what appears to be a massive fraudulent/padded give away contract to dodgy parties? Surely maintaining the old trunk roads well and managing traffic control during holiday peaks are better and more economical options? If it cannot come in at under $2 billion, ditch it now!

6. If Xxxx should fail to complete the project and collapses financially, what safeguards have you plunderers in Government put in place to make sure the taxpayers will not be subjected to another fcuking bailout? Your Press release is silent on this issue? Why? Declassify all documents now.

Since Tony Pua and the Opposition are monitoring these dodgy deals, I urge them to send a clear and powerful message to the Civil Service, Ministers and crony fraudtrepreneurs that when Pakatan comes into power ALL these shitty deals will be re-examined and anyone found guilty of fraud, CBT, embezzlement or corruption will be prosecuted and put behind bars for 60 years!

And while we are at it, below are some more deals involving Government, Government Linked (Losing) Companies and the private sector that deserve closer scrutiny:

1. $3.9 billion extension to LCTT based on projected passenger traffic of 45 million by 2020, based on off the cuff estimates provided by TF of AA. Did MAHB call for open tender and who were the parties awarded the contracts(s)? And is it true LCCT has two Control Towers?

2. $6 billion patrol boats contract ballooning to $9 billion. Do our patrol boats need laser guided missile systems at all? What for, to shoot at illegal immigrants?

3. $7.8 billion armoured vehicles contract sub-contracted to Turkey for $1.5 billion.

4. Sime Darby's $780 million acquisition of E&O Plc where massive insider dealing has been alleged against others and the husband of the SC's chairman, and not investigated thoroughly.

5. Proceeds from $250 million Government Loan to National Feedlot Corporation being used to acquire expensive cars, condos and land.

6. 'Not Commission" payment of $540 million paid to Razak Baginda's company for delivery of 2 Scorpene Submarines costing $6.7 billion and $370 million to Adam Adib's company for delivery of MiG jet fighters.

"A former National Feedlot Corporation (NFCorp) employee, who is alleged to have leaked the company’s financial records, was fired for stealing RM2.7 million in cash and will soon face criminal charges, Datuk Ibrahim Ali said today. The Perkasa chief said the “non-Malay” marketing executive, who was in charge of collecting cash payments from the NFCorp’s clients, had squirrelled away RM10,000 to RM20,000 daily before he was caught by company accountants.

NFCorp chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Salleh Ismail subsequently lodged a police report and sacked the employee in question. It turns out before this Datuk Salleh had two non-Malay employees. They handled RM150,000 in cash every day. One of these employees syphoned off the money. He further alleged that the employee then stole the company’s cashbook as revenge for the dismissal and may have sold it to PKR, which led to the charge against the scandal-tainted NFCorp." Malaysian Insider quoting Ibrahim Ali, 22/01/2012.

Here is a turd who could not organize a piss up in a brewery who, unsolicited, has apparently taken up the cudgel to "defend" allegations of financial impropriety at the National Feedlot Corporation (NFC), recipient of a $250 million 25-year Government loan to develop a sustainable supply of beef and dairy products in Malaysia. Public concern was fully justified after the Auditor General (AG) was quoted from his report to Parliament and elsewhere where the project was described as "in a mess".

We should all understand that the AG's findings and report were based on an audit of the Ministry of Agriculture, the party which disbursed the loan, in order to ascertain the recoverability of the massive low interest loan. The AG does not have the authority to audit private companies such as NFC unless they request it, or, the Government prudently orders it to satisfy itself that $250 million of Taxpayers' money has not slipped into non-performance status.

When did the NFC issue become a Malay vs Non-Malay affair? I don't recall reading such a turnout of events in any MSM or online news portals when the NFC debacle was reported, do you?

Does anyone recall reading headlines such as "Malay CEO, Minister and family members suspected of Criminal Breach of Trust (CBT)"?After all, the AG is himself a Malay. Should he have ordered a cover up because some Malays were implicated?

And who appointed Ibrahim Ali referee? NFC? Why would NFC invite a spineless demagogue into the fray?

What really pisses me off is that the AG should entertain IA at all.

The AG has reported as is his statutory duty and now it is a matter for the Public Accounts Committee, Police and Malaysian Association for Cows and Carse to act upon. Why has the AG brought the independence of the Audit Department into question and lowered its reputation and esteem in the eye of the Malaysian public by being seen together in the same planet as the worthless AI who:

1. In April 2011 made sexist remarks in Parliament blaming "wives who neglect their responsibilities" for Malaysian men having extra-marital affairs.

2. In May 2011threatened to wage "Holy War" against Christians over an alleged (totally false) plot by Christians to replace Islam as the "religion of the Federation" in Malaysia.

3. In June 2011 warned the Chinese community not to turn up for Bersih 2.0 saying "untoward incidents" may occur for which remark Khairuddin Jamaluddin labelled him a racist. Predictably, IA claimed he was misquoted or misunderstood.

4. Twice now has jumped political affiliation and therefore does not really represent the electorate anywhere.

Really, this tirade by AI about non-Muslim employees of NFC absconding with $2.7 million is a red herring. It is meant to distract and deflect attention away from the real issues facing NFC, which are, inter-alia:

1. A possible massive loss of a $250 million to the Malaysian Taxpayer.

2. The possibilities of massive financial CBT, fraud, abuse of authority and misrepresentation.

3. The possibility that top management had initiated a $1.76 million bribery attempt of our Police to halt investigations of financial misdeeds. (Curiously why have the Police only charged an individual with "deceiving NFC's CEO" into parting with $1.76 million but not the CEO himself with possibly, attempted bribery which was the original complaint?

4. The possibility of the sacking of a Federal Minister for alleged personal involvement in NFC's affairs and securing the project through crony connections.

5. The possibilty of our DPM "nobly" resigning for a Titanic-like financial disaster occurring under his watch

Where does Malay/non-Malay come into the equation?

REPRISAL OF "I ACCUSE THE GOOD DR.M (J' ACCUSE REVISITED)"

Today marks the 114th anniversary of the greatest newspaper article of all time - 'J'accuse' - written and published on 13th January 1898 by Emile Zola. As my homage to Zola and J'accuse, I reprise below my earlier blog post of 9 July 2010.

Alongside and before 'J'accuse' stands the American Declaration of Independence of 4th July 1776 with its electrifying 'We hold these truths to be self-evident.' This proclamation must rank as a sacred formulation of the fundamental rights of every human being and represents the pinnacle of human intellect in freeing us from a kind of mental slavery that certain men can command and rule us at their whims and fancies as if by divine right.

This reprisal is timely, coming as it does in the wake of Anwar Ibrahim's acquittal from sodomy charges, heralding a new brighter dawn for the nation.

Meanwhile 'the Good Dr.M' continues to sow the seeds of dissent and disunity while continuing to support the regime of a lying Prime Minister who propels us closer to a totalitarian state as the last strategy for his Party to cling on to power.

Note too that Dr.Mahathir presides as paid "adviser" to the fast sinking Proton Holdings which for the umpteenth time has entered into discussions for either take over by or collaboration deals with successful foreign automotive giants while at the same time championing dodgy, cosy deals with local "auto czars" and "top Proton management."

Of course, he is also paid "adviser" to Petronas which has embarked on farming out "marginal oilfield exploration rights" worth $billions to private companies. And who should be the primary beneficiary of these "direct negotiation" ventures? Surprise! Surprise! It's none other than a consortium in which Dr.M's son has a major stake. Can anyone tell us what exactly is a "marginal oil field" that Pertonas is forsaking exploration of while Mirzan Mahathir and his partners, which includes foreign parties, are willing to sink in their own capital of US$400 million?

Everywhere we look, our treasured GLC's, like MAS, are falling over like tenpins. After announcing humongous operating losses, they are being patched up together by the same management teams which proudly announced after the previous restructuring (costing the Taxpayer tens of $billions) that it was the best ever and they had seen the "light at the end of the tunnel" and "turned the corner" after "leaving no stone unturned" in their search for viable solutions.

Previously, Dr.M, as long-standing "adviser", claimed he hadn't a clue about the fiasco in Proton writing off $560 million of its disastrous investment in motor-cycle manufacturer MV Augusta and selling it off for Euro 1. Consequently, Mahathir's handpicked MD for Proton, Tengku Mahaleel, was sacked. Mahathir again pled "Que?" When Najib engineered the retirement of Petronas CEO Tan Sri Hassan Merican in order to ease in his dubious crony Omar Mustapha Ong (of Ethos Consulting fame) on to the Board of Directors, again it would appear, if it can be believed, Dr.Mahathir was not consulted??!!

One can only suppose that Dr.Mahathir, now wiser when even longer in the tooth, is taking an ever closer interest in the manoeuvrings going on in Proton and Petronas, which in turn is bound to be the harbinger of more Taxpayer $billion bailouts and economic rape of our "safe deposit" petroleum resources.

So,let's learn to recognise Mahathirism whenever and wherever we encounter it, and extinguish it from the face of the earth.

The French writer Emile Zola took on the might of the entire Government of France when he sounded that clarion call for justice in the L' Aurore newspaper in Paris on 13th January 1898.

'J’accuse’ or ‘I Accuse’ represents the triumph of human intellect, endeavour, strength and resolve over hopeless odds when faced with institutionalised government misbehaviour, thuggery and gangsterism.

There are other epochal markers for human intellectual development like the 1776 ‘American Declaration of Independence’ with its doctrine of self- evident truths, that all men are created equal by their Creator with inalienable human rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness, and......especially that:

“Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the GOVERNED”.

Were you not inspired by Lincoln’s ‘Gettysburg Address’?:

“Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

.... that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain - that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom— and that a government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”

Or by Churchill’s war speeches as he stood alone against the onslaught of Hitler, The Third Reich, Gestapo, ‘blue eyed and blonde’ Aryan superiority racist Nazism hypothesis, Holocaust, Mussolini and Hirohito, fascism and an Axis of Evil:

“I would say to the House, as I said to those who have joined this Government: I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, sweat and tears......

....our policy is to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us.....against a monstrous tyranny never surpassed in the dark, lamentable catalogue of human crime..... You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: It is victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be.....

We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even...armed and guarded....we would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.”

Stirring words and actions such as these represent the uncanny arrival of the right men and women at the right time to lead, guide and inspire the world to safety. They feature prominently among the pinnacles of the advancement of human mind and ethics.

THE AWAKENING – 1 NATION, 3 SYSTEMS

When I first watched the black and white movie versions of 'The Life of Emile Zola' and 'The Dreyfus Affair' on Malaysian TV, I must have been 17 or so. The anti-Semitic aspect of the Dreyfus saga did not register much with me then though that was the central reason for the victimisation of Dreyfus, seen as a pushover by dark and dangerous elements in the admiralty of the French Navy. Most of my classmates and schoolmates, including me, were politically ignorant and naive even at a time when the Vietnam War was raging so close to home and the 1969 race riots, pretty much restricted to Malays and Chinese in Selangor, Ipoh and Penang following the general elections, changed our world! Back then, Kuala Lumpur was part of Selangor; it became the first Federal Territory on 1st February 1974.

But if today, anyone here were to say he is ignorant of the Israeli-Palestine conflict or the USA-Iran/Afghan War when Malaysians have justifiably sponsored and boarded flotillas heading for Gaza, and unjustifiably spawned local bomb makers and regional terrorists, that would be the height of ignorance or hypocrisy!

So, as in 1957 and 1969, Malaysia is once again at a crossroads. Now, we are faced with a right wing organisation, an NGO which claims to represent an “oppressed MAJORITY”! Now, isn’t that a little odd, if not an awful lot, given they are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the New Economic Policy (NEP)? More than that, the last 40 years has seen the almost complete domination at every level of Government, the Civil Service, Army, Navy and Air Force, Police, Judiciary, the administrative and teaching corps at Government owned schools, colleges and universities and Government Linked Companies (GLC's) such as Petronas, Sime Darby, MAS, Maybank and sports organisations, scouts movement and many others, by one group of Malaysians over any other.

Yet, they would have us believe, this has created an unprecedented level of insecurity among the majority that seemingly defies analysis. The NEP was formulated in 1970 to address the charge that indigenous Bumiputra majority in Malaysia only owned some 2% of the economy and to rectify the imbalance therein through affirmative action policies. It was meant to be terminated 20 years later, but never was by ex-Prime Minister Dr.Mahathir Mohamad (1981-2003) who summarily claimed its objectives had not been fully realised yet, though he never disclosed any independent statistics to support his fiat.

Some fifteen years later, a leading and highly respected PhD holding analyst and researcher with government resigned his post when his statement that Bumiputras had achieved 45% control of the economy was hotly disputed by then Deputy Prime Minister, Tun Najib Razak (now Prime Minister). It appears that equity valuations are still stated at original cost and not market values!

After 40 years of NEP, our government claims that the originally loosely stated Bumiputra target of 30% share of economy languishes at just under 20% and that of the 40% of the population classified as ‘poor’ by international yardsticks, Bumiputras constitute the majority!!

Whose fault is all that? Who is responsible for the gross abuse of the NEP to the extent that it only benefited a relatively few cronies, politicians, insiders, the elite and well-connected businessmen and corporate raiders to the tune of billions of dollars, while the masses ate cake? Who's exclusively been holding the reins of power since 1957? Who takes ownership for the endemic corruption and billion dollar financial scandals, the economic looting and plunder that continue to rock and quake the country?

This has led to vociferous demands amid much public hand wringing, breast beating and self-flagellation, prominently backed by Dr.Mahathir that Bumiputras who perhaps constitute some 60% of the populace, should by some law of inverted logic control and share in 67% of the national cake! The NGO leader and his acolytes aver they have a right to speak up and demand actions based on their view of right and wrong, on any and all issues involving or affecting Bumiputra rights; that they have “wide and enormous” support from the “indigenous heartland’ (wherever that may be).

Many suspect Dr.Mahathir is the real brain-child and power behind this NGO whose public leader gained a parliamentary seat standing as a candidate under the banner of Malaysia’s opposition religious party, PAS, then defected and now operates as an independent MP. Apparently his friendly overtures to the ruling party were roundly and pointedly, ignored!

Accusations have also been hurled against the ruling party that it has outsourced its extremist right wing elements and leanings to Dr.Mahathir and this new kid on the block NGO, thus killing two birds with one stone - appearing to be a moderate multi-racial consensus party AND portraying itself as the only party capable of dealing with overt chauvinism and extremism.

The stance and line of attack taken by Dr.Mahathir and this NGO is very, very clear:

1. The Ruling Party is no longer capable of protecting Bumiputra rights.

2. NEP should continue indefinitely until they and only they say, “enough”.

3. Their demands are backed by ‘Special Position’ clauses enshrined in the Federal Constitution.

4. The award of citizenship to immigrant populations in 1957 was a deliberate act of sabotage by the departing colonial British administration. That this somehow created what is in reality a 2nd class citizenship and a “Social Contract” whereby these immigrant citizens, their children and the children of their children ad infinitum will not question their government, ever, even if the Flames of Valhalla were to engulf them.

5. "Others" should not question anything pertaining to the NEP, its cost or who bears it in what proportion even if there is blatant abuse of it. (This implies the NEP exists only to rectify the economic imbalance among one group of Malaysians and not all, through affirmative action policies which are not defined).

6. Demands by other Malaysian citizens as to their Constitutional rights is not quite cricket, as by virtue of the (iffy) “Social Contract” they are 2nd class citizens!

7. That Opposition political parties such as multi-racial Democratic Action Party (DAP) (unlike the major component parties of the ruling Barisan National (BN) where memberships are by race) are anti-Bumiputra, anti-Islam, anti-Federal Constitution and anti-Monarchy (anti-Sultans). That DAP’s malevolent, treacherous and treasonous "secret" master plan/agenda is for the Chinese to re-colonise Malaysia with help from Lee Kuan Yew and Singapore to eventually turn it into a vassal and protectorate slave state of China. The woodwork is crawling with foreign spies out to wreck our nation!

8. If not, multi-racial opposition Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) or People's Justice Party, is anti-Monarchy, pro-Israel and Pro-Zionists. It will turn Malaysia into a Republic and the 51st state of the USA, which, being ruled by proxy by Israel (as revealed so swimmingly by none other than Dr.Mahathir), shall surely result in Malaysia eventually being controlled by the Jews and their Diaspora!

J'ACCUSE III

Now we can clearly see in all its glorious nakedness the intentions of Dr.Mahathir, the new NGO, the ruling party and its MSM in the incessant demonising of DAP, PKR and its leaders. Attack is the best form of defence and when in doubt, play the man, not the ball (my tribute to World Cup Football)! Nazi Joseph's Goebbels' "A big lie when repeated often enough eventually will be accepted as the truth” has become fashionable political strategy. Ooh, you are about to be re-colonised and made 2nd class citizens in your own land by the minority and their foreign imperialistic allies! Boo, beware, or else your children will only be fit to be gardeners, chauffeurs, taxi and bus drivers, office and messenger boys, coolies and keranis (clerks)!

That it should fall to a non-entity, the little guy, the nobody, the small time blogger to sound the nation and the world, raise the cudgel and hopefully strike a blow for reason, freedom, truth and justice to prevail is a little worrying. All these people whom I revere and whose names I have sprinkled about as though I can claim a right to be associated with them - Washington, Lincoln, Churchill and Zola, oh Emile Zola, I ask for their forgiveness.

I am once again drawn to the 1776 ‘American Declaration of Independence’:

“..That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organising its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness......

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.”

And so let me begin:

J'Accuse Dr. Mahathir Mohamad of indulging and engaging in demagoguery, of playing to the gallery and playing with fire to drive a wedge and divide Malaysians, pitting race against race, by promoting envy and jealousy.

J'Accuse Dr. Mahathir Mohamad of scaremongering tactics, of and posturing like Enoch Powell who once scurrilously tried to frighten Britain citizens about being swamped by coloured immigrants and of “rivers of blood”! All this to mislead our people into thinking the ruling party is ordained (by divine right) to govern in perpetuity and there are no alternatives regardless of its excesses!

Let us be very clear. The majority of Bumiputras voting for the Opposition does not constitute loss of political power or control for the Bumiputras. It may be fatal for the incumbent ruling party, but that is not equivalent to a fate worse than death for the Bumiputras. No sirree, not by a long, long way! You see, you need the "consent of the GOVERNED". If you don't have it, you should know where the door is! The Governed today are not the uninformed naive lot that might once have been quietly bled to death by increasingly subtle ponzi and cunning Bernie Madhoff and Goldman Sachs mafia-style rabid conscienceless capitalist schemes!

J'Accuse Dr.Mahathir Mohamad of hypocrisy in ranting about a future government that MIGHT open the floodgates of immigration and reduce the Bumiputras to minorities in their own native land. There is also something quite amiss, something not quite right when Dr.Mahathir is himself actually the son of either 1st or 2nd generation immigrants from Kerala in India. Dr.Mahathir was the presiding prime minister when identity cards were issued by civil servants to illegal immigrants in Sabah attempting to re-engineer the population mix there. It was he who opened the doors to foreign labour and maids and then offered amnesty to a million illegal immigrant workers. Today, it is conservatively estimated that there are about a million illegal immigrants each in peninsular Malaysia, and Sarawak and Sabah.

J'Accuse Dr. Mahathir Mohamad of doing this deliberately and not caring a jot as to the consequences of such actions. In a tinder-dry atmosphere of his creation, when embraced by immature minds and opportunist politicians, such irresponsible utterances, writings and actions can prove to be the flash point for conflagration as in 1969! The highly intelligent Dr.Mahathir is not aware of it? Only too well, I suspect!

J'Accuse our successive governments of allowing the separate arms of a democratic state to deteriorate and be compromised as to their honesty and integrity to the greatest detriment of its people. Corruption and economic looting have been permitted to flourish and their perpetrators, to enjoy the fruits of their ill-begotten gains and escape scot-free!

J'Accuse our government of selective prosecution and double standards. Thus, an opposition MP is prosecuted under sedition laws for merely making a factually correct statement that a Sultan can be sued by law. Reporters and opposition politicians are bafflingly arrested and sequestered under the Internal Security Act (ISA) "for their own safety" based on unfounded rumours about an insult to Islam traceable to a blog posting by a ruling party MP and ex- State Chief Minister. Pro-government newspapers blow the conch for unreserved retaliation without verifying an iota of fact! A cartoonist, because his drawings are seen as anti-Government, has his books confiscated and banned under the repressive 1984 Printing Presses and Publication Act (PPPA) promulgated by Dr.Mahathir.

On the other hand, a government MP is let off with a slap on the wrist for referring to some citizens as immigrants, most of whom are 2nd and 3rd generation citizens or older! As too occurred with the prime minister defending his political aide who was forced to apologise and resign amidst public furore and outrage over a racist speech rant that the mothers of Chinese immigrants came to Malaysia as prostitutes to sell their bodies, and Indians as beggars! Really, PM Najib, do you honestly believe the words that came out of your own mouth that your ex-aide had not referred to “local Chinese and Indians”? He was referring to foreign Chinese and Indians who never set foot on our shores? Really? Then, my grandfather was a Caucasian named Ghandhi Mao!

And insulting foreign Chinese and Indians is acceptable behaviour? It is not blatant racism deserving outright condemnation and possibly, prison sentence for the "orator"?

J'Accuse!

HOPE

You cling to power, fame, the dismal dregs, trappings and illusion of money, property, wealth and a place in the history books.

I am not judging expecting perfection from you. The Lord alone knows my own weaknesses and pathetic failures.

I demand fair play. I demand justice prevails. That’s all.

And I say all this with great fear. I am no hero. I “know” no one. If they come after me in the wee hours of the morning because that’s what they have learnt from Stalin and Hitler and Idi Amin, Bokassa, Saddam and the Taliban about how to treat their fellow citizens, I shall go quietly and gently in their Black Maria and say nothing. I shall not give the enforcers any statements or the time of the day. I shall not give in to pain!

I have said what I meant to.

My inalienable right to say it is indisputable.

I have the weight of history in my favour and (I hope) God on my side!

Brothers and Sister of Malaysia,

I had wanted to open my writing on this historic day in Malaysian with what it was like to breathe the hill air in the Car Park at the Jalan Duta Court Complex this morning and what it meant to me and my friends when news of Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim's (DSAI) acquittal filtered through to the crowd of 10,000 there.

But let me digress a wee bit lest we let our serially lying Prime Minister and his Minister for MsInformation, Goebbels Tim Rice Anak Yatim Piatu and his cohorts run off at the mouth (and pink lips) and make all sorts of wild claims that this acquittal has firmly established that our Judiciary always was and truly is, independent of influence, especially by the Executive. Let me categorically state this:

Today’s decision by High Court Judge Mohamed Zabidin bin Mohamed Diah to acquit Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI) of sodomising his ex-aide Mohamed Saiful Bukhari Azlan on 29June 2008 DOES NOT BY ONE JOT mean the Malaysian Judiciary is truly independent of the manipulating tentacles of this UMNO/BN Government or of one that may succeed it. No way does one swallow a summer make. Nor does it, as opined by Bridgette Welsh, a professor at Singapore Management University and a long-term observer of Malaysian politics who was on hand to attend the verdict, and who spoke to the Wall St. Journal, mean:

“It shows that Mr Najib is willing to step away from interfering in the judiciary.”

No Siree! It does not mean any such thing! Not by a very long, long way!

I am also incensed (well, actually, fucking pissed off) that all these foreign "experts" on Malaysian politics and Press were allowed entry into Judge Zabidin's courtroom while we, the taxpaying Rakyat (citizens) were deliberately denied our Constitutional right to bear witness to the court proceedings by an army of our very own policemen.

THE SLATE WILL NOT BE CLEAN until Barisan Rakyat takes over the reins of Government and we have an open Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) where all the relevant judges, magistrates, Attorney Generals, Chief Secretaries to Government, Ministers, Chief Ministers, Inspector Generals of Police, Generals and even the odd Sultan or two are subpoenaed to testify on the peculiar decisions they made regarding State coups, various deaths in police custody and elsewhere as well as cases of financial misdeeds by our home grown Fraudtrepreneurs and "Corpo-rat Captains of Industry," general endemic corruption and about corruption charges levelled at judges. Some of these cases are-:

1. The Teoh Beng Hock "suicide."

2. Ahmad Sarbaini Mohamed "suicide."

3. Deaths in police custody of Francis Udayappan, Ananthan Kugan, Gunasegaran Rajasundram and scores of others.

4. A former Chief Justice (an an ex-Attorney General) who was caught candidly on camera holidaying with lawyers who paid for his travelling expenses and who appeared in front of him in more than one court case. That same CJ was also identified by witnesses testifying under oath at the same RCI as having gone hunting for a $1 million house with a local business tycoon. The lawyer involved was accused of fixing some court cases and the appointment of judges with the CJ and others such as Mahathir.
5. Perak State coup.

In particular, I would like to grill over flaming coals a couple of Federal Court judges, if they are still alive, how in Sodomy 1 they could honestly write an opinion that the accuser, Azizan Abu Bakar had blatantly lied about various relevant issues under oath, but nevertheless were "convinced" that DSAI had committed sodomy on him as testified to solely by Azizan!

This is not about revenge, but about transparency and accountability, and most of all, integrity. It is also to send a clear message to those titled personages and others holding high office in Government and Government Linked Concerns (GLC's) that with fancy salary packages, perks and privileges, not to mention inflation proof index-linked pensions and chauffeur driven Mercedes Benz cars, comes 'in loco parentis' or duty of care. They cannot just walk away from administrative and $million and $billion financial scandals which burgeon under their watch, or which involves them or their cronies/families while they foam at the lips with tag lines like 'People First, Performance, Now! (Accountability, Never!).’

Note that a Malaysian born CEO (of 9 years standing) of Singapore MRT resigned last week after two major MRT breakdowns in train service. Here in Malaysia, a certain once Minister of Agriculture and now Deputy Prime Minister refuses to take responsibility and resign in the wake of alleged massive corruption and Criminal Breach of Trust (CBT) involving a $250 million Government 25- year Loan dished out to the husband of Minister of Cows & Condos (and the odd $ million Mercedes cars, or two or maybe, three).

Here still, another former Minister shamelessly continues as Chairman of a commodities driven Public Limited Company (Plc) which since an infamous merger, for which a merchant bank led by PM Najib's brother is reputed to have earned professional fees of about $500 million, has lost some 50% of its share value, declared sapping losses of over $2 billion and after blaming it all on the Plc's CEO, has now suspiciously, despite the Plc having its own award winning property arm, forked out a whopping $750 million (60% over its quoted market price) for control of another listed property company. Wtf, you may well ask! The list is almost endless.

So, integrity is somewhat is short supply here, where it matters most.

No Siree! The moment Prime Minister Najib smirked “Who is Anwar" and mocked him in Parliament about his injuries sustained in the Bersih rally and then fought tooth and nail to successfully set aside (by Judge Zabidin) a subpoena issued by DSAI’s lawyers for Najib (and his wife Rosmah) to testify in the Sodomy 2 trial, we know Najib and his band of 40 thieves will NEVER “step away from interfering in the judiciary.” Because, for the past 30 years, undermining and destroying the ideals of the Separation of Powers, a Mahathir formulated initiative, has been the KEY strategy of UMNO/BN in clinging on to power.

And this is where Judge Zabidin comes in. How did he rule that PM Najib and Rosmah had nothing relevant to testify to when Saiful had testified under oath that he had met them in their home courtesy of Najib’s aide. Najib had even placed a telephone call about it to then IGP Musa Hassan BEFORE the alleged sodomy act took place!

Especially since Najib first lied in public that he had ever met Saiful, back-tracked on it when caught out, then lied again that he had only met him about a scholarship Saiful was lobbying for and only when finally cornered by the Opposition, did he (reluctantly) own up?

Do remember too that Zabidin and the judiciary repeatedly blocked Anwar’s request for witness list and other discover documents to facilitate to the maximum Solicitor General Mohamed Yusof Zainal Abiden's ambush tactics. At the end of the prosecution’s case, he even ruled that Saiful was a credible witness! He also first ruled DNA material gathered when DSAI was in a prison cell was inadmissible (at which point the entire SG’s case fell apart and it was game over) and then on some flimsy appeal by the SG, reversed it!

So, when everything pointed to a conviction, what gave?

My guess is that when faced with judgement and widespread condemnation by the international press like the Washington Post and Wall St. Journal which had the attention of Obama, and the leaders of half the western world as well as Turkey, Oz and NZ had pronounced misgivings over the long drawn out case which the SG should not even have filed in the first place, he exercised discretion over valour and passed the buck back to PM Najib and the politicians who conspired and conjured it up in the first place.

Were the integrity of the DNA samples compromised to such a degree that Zabidin had reasonable doubt to acquit DSAI? That much is certain. When faced with the idiocy (did the midwife drop him on his head at birth) of a Chief Inspector of Police who illegally removed the samples from the safe custody of the Chemistry Department, claimed to have them stored in a cupboard in his air-conditioned office and checked on their integrity by sticking his hand in the cupboard to verify that it was at an equable temperature, what choice did Zabidin have? I mean which police station in this country runs its air-conditioning units at zero or sub-zero temperatures? More than that, there was that utterly damaging testimony by that defence DNA expert from Oz that had our scientist from the Chemistry Department been his students, he would have failed them all!

But in another era, that of Mahathir “the benevolent dictator” and Judge Augustine Paul (passed away in 2010) and Judge Ariffin Jaka (passed away end 2011) much of the defence evidence and testimony would have been oh, so conveniently declared “irrelevant” and “expunged” from the court records forever, and even a Mother Teresa convicted of dildo-sodomising nuns and the poor.

So, High Court Judge Mohamed Zabidin bin Mohamed Diah today did what was the only course of action open to him if he did not wish to be pilloried for his remaining days by the court of public opinion, local and international.

HE SCREAMED “CATCH!” IN UTTER PANIC AND THREW THE BALL AND BUCK BACK TO PM NAJIB AND UMNO/BN!

Najib and UMNO/BN give up on meddling with the judiciary? After manipulating the appointment of their party legal adviser, Tun Zaki Tun Azmi as CJ in 2008 over the heads of so many senior judges? NEVER! After wantonly throwing way $100 million to APCO USA and $58 million to FBC Media in UK to prop up his image by PR misdirection and drivel? NEVER! Because misinformation and now and then plain lying is the credo of this leadership.

And so when the acquittal verdict was confirmed and I breathed in that cool morning air atop the Jalan Duta Court Complex hill, freshened by early morning showers, an old confidence surged in my bones. It suddenly flashed across my mind as I hugged my friend Bernard and looked across at the weeping and laughing and cheering PKR, PAS and DAP old, young and rejuvenated men and women:

THE END IS NIGH FOR NAJIB AND THIS BREED OF UMNO/BN LEADERS AND POLITICIANS. IT WILL DO THEM A WORLD OF GOOD TO BE IN OPPOSITION FOR A COUPLE OF TERMS OR UNTIL THEY LEARN THAT CONTINUALLY LYING TO THE CITIZENS AND CHEATNG THEM WILL GET THEM NOWHERE. BE WARY. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY PR MANIPULATION AND SNAKE OIL SALESMEN MASQUERADING AS CARING POLITICIANS,

BARISAN RAKYAT’S TIME HAS FINALLY ARRIVED. THE SUN HAS SET FOR NOW ON UMNO/BN. WE ARE DESTINED TO SEIZE THE UPPERHAND.

WE ARE ALL OF 1 RACE, THE HUMAN RACE!

Thus the once Japanes Chief Minister Khir Johari Toyota was NOT charged with corruption and crookedly accumulating wealth beyond his means (based on the known salary of a Chief Minister) to build and furnish a palace reputedly to the tune of $24 million. Because that would have been a walkover and Toyota would have been making car licence plates in Bamboo River Infirmary, after possibly receiving six of the best on his ample buttocks.

So here are some questions donplaypuks® intrepid reporters would have posed to the relevant parties were they self-respecting pro UMNO/BN MSM investigative journalists invited to Press conferences:

1. I Raja Polis, when Tweedledum and Tweedledee who are linked to Prime Minister Rosemajib "confessed" to your officers they were offered $100K to "off" a certain Mongolian lady adulteress and blackmailer, why did your officers not ask them for the identity of the Godfather? And why haven't you and your officers got down to investigating this issue for 3 years and charged said Godfather with conspiracy to murder? Too busy arresting others "for their own safety?" Also, why is the judge allowing Tweedledum and Tweedledee to cover their heads fully so that the public cannot identify them which gives rise to suspicion, perception and speculation that the powers that be intend to substitute some other paid criminals to serve their prison sentences while the two holiday in Acapulco?

2. So, Tan Sri, when Tony and Air Asia submitted projections that traffic flow at LCCT would breach 45 million passengers by 2020, did anyone check and test the assumptions and business model? Yet you gave the orders to double the size of the new LCCT and dished out the addition $2 billion construction cost contracts to UMNO/BN and the Perak Royalty linked companies without calling for open tenders? And Tony now clearly says that all he wanted to register was that the new LCCT should have the capacity to expand SHOULD passenger numbers exceed expectations (as any savvy businessman would plan for) but not rush out with indecent haste and commit $2 billion NOW like money is going out of fashion? Could you disclose how many $ millions in donations have the company you lead and those awarded the $ billion LCCT construction made to UMNO/BN and whether they sought approval from their shareholders for such largesse?

3. So, Madam Indian Muslim but pretending to be Malay Bumiputra, voted out by the PEOPLE and now backdoor entry Minister for Gaji Butas, are you seriously saying you did not know your husband bought brand new Mercedes Benz cars for over $1 million, $10 million condos each in Singapore and Bungsar Cowshitsville, he nor your children never discussed it with you or you take a ride in the Mercs and never asked "Hey hubbywubby, whose car is this and whose Orchard Road condo is that? And how come that Mt. Kiara condo/office rental is over $400K per year, who owns it yang? And how come our wunderkids are earning $25,000, $35,000 and $45,000 in salaries while you get a whopping $100,000 a month although Cowshitsville lost over $11 million and you are trading in cows and "investing" in condos instead of creating a base bull stock all for $250 million of, not UMNO/BN but the Rakyat's money, or is it all bull anyway?"

4. So you who back stabbed Anwar Ibrahim as his right hand man and are now Minister for $8 billion submarines that have to be house trained (for fee of $600 million per year) by the Submarine Whisperer to dive in tropical waters, when the contract sum for 6 boats was increased from $6 billion to $9 billions and Boustead paid $11 million in commissions for what elsewhere would be a no commission G-to-G deal, we should just discuss it over jantan ali teh tharik and call it a day? No one should be disciplined for poor administrative (budgeting) work or investigated for padding defence procurement contracts or for kickbacks?

5. Oh, lest I forget you who back stabbed Anwar Ibrahim as his right hand man and are now Minister for $8 billion submarines that have to be house trained and Godfather for 500,000 RELA personnel destined to bankrupt the Treasury, how is it that Turkestan ex-pasar malam rice smuggler fulfilled a $7.6 billion 257 armoured tanks defence contract by purchasing them from Turkey for $1.5 billion and then you said in Parliament you did not know anything about it even though you were there at the contract signing ceremony in Turkey? And what exactly are these 257 armoured tanks doing in Taliban Afghanistan? Is Taliban Afghanistan our 14th State that we should defend its borders?

6. And so PM Rosemajib, have I got it right that when you told the 1Nation you never met Sighfool and then back-tracked on it and then said you met him about a scholarship and nothing else and Sighfool testified under oath that he came to see you about Sodomy and you telephoned the IGP, that's all not called LYING and should you not resign or be impeached out of office?

7. And 1 more matter PM Rosemajib, whose pockets is it exactly this $500 for low income earners is exactly coming out of which you say is the next best thing to sliced bread but you and your party tried to sabotage Lim Guan Eng's $100 per senior citizen in Penang by asking UMNO members to return it claiming it was 'haram?" You are now sure part of this $500 is not coming from "haram" taxes paid by Genting, Vincent Tans' Sports Toto Group and Ananda Krishnan's Tanjong Horse Racing & Betting proceeds? Please ask all UMNO members to immediately return the $500 if you cannot provide any guarantees that it is not tainted by taxes from "haram" business activities.

8. So, Foot In Mouth Minister for $500 million Parliament roof repairs and $2 billion new Parliament House in Putrajaya, when you were asked in Parliament how much PM Rosemajib had authourized as Con-sultant fees to APCO and you replied $24 million and later the Opposition revealed it to be RM 77 million and you said after con-sulting Hansard that "I never said RM24 million," you expect us to believe that when a Minister of the realm answers about financial matters on Malaysia in a MALAYSIAN Parliament we should have to ask him whether he's taking US$ or Ringgit Malaysia or Korean Won or Indonesian Rupiahs? Would you swear on the Koran you did not deliberately mislead the PEOPLE?

9. So, Rosemajib, why was your name on the Customs Declaration Form for that US$24 million diamond ring. if someone had forged it, why did you not lodge a police report? And while we are at it, have the accounts for that $105 million special school project (budget now increased by another $20 million, I believe) been audited? What's it been spent on exactly? And did you buy those expensive Birkin bags (costing anywhere from US$20,000-60,000 each) again with money from your savings accounts or were they "gifts" from rich businessmen and why would they gift you anything?

10. So Tan Sri, either the Taxpayer has to bail out Prothon by pumping in $ billions or if you take it private for yourself, you CAN make it profitable by cutting overheads, filling up undercapacity in 52% occupied car assembly plants and hiving off Lothus Motors UK into which you just injected $4 billion for turnaround in 4 years time, but assisted by eternal adviser Maha Firaun you cannot do anything as sitting (or is it shitting) Chairman drawing a remuneration package of what, $100,000 a month? What exactly do you, your CEO and the Board of Directors at Prothon do everyday in office? And you Tan Sri cannot afford to match the market price of $3 billion offered by a Bumi company for control of Prothon, but the eternal adviser and bread-money launderer Maha Firaun says it's better you be gifted Prothon with a $2 billion discount and you come up with no cash because you sat there all these years expertly presiding over $ billion of losses? Really?

11. So, Abdul Najib Baginda,it was not a commission, but you made what, 7 trips to Paris to ensure our boys would be fed nasi lemak for breakfast and the kiblat would be accurately positioned so they would not be stressed out by praying in the wrong direction while under training in France Naval Academy , all for a measly $540 million worth of services? Wow, what a rip off!

12. So, Inspector, let's get this right. You took those DNA and other samples (against the advice of the chemistry department scientists and broke police SOP and the law), for storage in a cupboard in your office, after ensuring the temperature was about 0 degrees Centigrade by expertly sticking your hand in and comparing the temperature with that in your air-con room, and after you also got the date on the labels totally wrong, you expect the citizens of this country to believe you did not diddle the samples to fix DSIA?

13. So Deputy Minister for Tithes & Ladies Nylon Stockings, using government money to pay your legal bills before receiving approval from the Treasury and then reimbursing the tithe fund after receiving it, is not Criminal Breach of Trust (CBT) for which you should be hung by your goolies in court?

14. So Junior Minister, if those $ millions banked into your personal bank account were donations for some legitimate purpose why did you not open a separate Trust bank account for that purpose or ask donors to pay direct to the charities? What about those transfers as alleged of $60K a month to bank accounts of your personal aides? Also for charity? What a bunch of alttruistic guys you all are?

15. So Madam CEO of the Insecurity Council, the Chairman and Board of Statutory Declaration Plc (SD Plc) approved that $2 billion loss making dodgy venture in Saudi but now only the CEO is sacked and charged in court with dereliction of duty and fraud? Yet the Board of SD Plc under the same gaji buta Chairman, dubbed Black Musang, pays 60% premium to acquire another property Plc, Enjoy & Orgaz Plc, for $ billions to line the pockets of 3 shareholders while ignoring the 70% non-controlling minority shareholders when they could have used the same $ billions to directly acquire land, you see nothing suspicious to investigate? Especially since your husband and others who sit on SD Plc's BoD and that of Enjoy & Orgaz Plc are known to have traded in these shares shortly before any announcement was made thereby creating the suspicion that there was MASSIVE Insider Trading which you are supposed to squash like you would a bug?

16. So, Chief Minister, please explain for the benefit of the peasants, why Bumiputras should control a company that basically sells unhealthy fried chicken skin laden with coronary and diabetes causing cholestrol when your finances are in ruin and your expertise in managing businesses stinks like poultry shit?

HERE LIE THE ASHES OF RPK. MAY HE R.I.P.

If pride goes before a fall, then much more, respect, integrity and most importantly, trust, has bolted out the window forever as far as RPK is concerned. Now, Malaysians who had long hoped that RPK would lead the bloggers' charge in unseating permanently one of the most corrupt and racist regimes in modern history, have every reason to look elsewhere for leadership and a deliverer.

Let's not mince words or attempt to soften the blow by blathering on about "Many of you appear to be of the view that RPK has betrayed us, and has sold out......I do not share this view.......Mine is premised on the man and Marina that I believe I have come to know." This is the worst kind of hypocrisy and a state of self-delusion and denial the Haris Ibrahim's of our world live in, having suffered an almost, but not quite, fatal body blow.

It would have been kinder of RPK to have fired a cyanide tipped bullet into Haris's or Anwar Ibrahim's brains than to have indulged in this kind of cowardly deception.

For the record, I WAS a staunch RPK supporter until 01.01.2012. Now I couldn't care less if he were somehow to be incarcerated again in Sg. Buloh Prison and the keys to his solitary confinement cell thrown away in the Kelang River. He's had his 15 minutes of fame and WE THE PEOPLE, would have created history in opening the window for an exceptional additional 15 minutes for him had RPK shown true courage and gumption in self-exile and in the face of, admittedly, tremendous adversity.

So, RPK's latest betrayal, and make no mistake, this is the second such instance of it within 12 months, has clearly confirmed that he has SOLD EVERYBODY OUT!

And that Phuket yacht junket and bragging about cavorting with fraudtrepreneur ali baba businessmen who once RPK would not have touched with a 10-foot pole and whom we spit at in disgust? That’s as telling an action as any that RPK has lost the plot. In attempting to backstab Anwar Ibrahim and PKR, he has only succeeded in stabbing himself.

RPK had hoped to hoodwink us by claiming that he did not realize his 2011 TV3 interview would be used to Najib's, Rosmah’s and UMNO/BN's greatest advantage, as they did just before the elections in East Malaysia. Now he thinks our opinions don't/won't count when he clearly backstabbed Anwar Ibrahim and PKR, timed a week before the court verdict is due to be pronounced on Sodomy 2, on 9th January. RPK, like so many other self-appointed panjandrums, was wrong in 2008 and he will be wrong again in 2012/2013.

RPK may well harbour the notion that he contributed more to Pakatan's tsunamic success in GE 2008 than Anwar Ibrahim.

Such is the nature of those who suffer from illusions of grandeur.

Let me state yet again another matter for the record:

There was not a man or woman alive in 2008 other than Anwar Ibrahim who could have united PKR, DAP and PAS under one common banner to stand in opposition to UMNO/BN and deliver Badawi's and UMNO/BN's head as Anwar did, on a platter. None could have secured Selangor, Kedah and Penang into Pakatan’s fold without Anwar helming the coalition and formulating and executing to almost perfection the winning strategy.

But can we expect anything else from those who are poor second or third cousins or whatever to Royalty and who have fallen on hard times? It must be galling to rely on 'peasant' supporters' donations and the largesse of the class of multi-millionaires and billionaires whom RPK once railed against and claimed fixed government licensed lotteries to finance party-hopping MP’s, to get by in the boondocks of grey, depressing and chilling Manchester. Yet, no royalty ever came out in defence of RPK when he was in prison or when he was charged under the ISA, did they?.

From there to getting into bed with a manipulative, plain lying and dishonest Prime Minister who will not hesitate a jot to rip off the taxpayer to retain power is but one short $10 million step. Or is it $30 million or Euro 30 million?

I do not subscribe to the view that RPK was coerced into his Brutus act by the Special Branch, thereby buying time, protection and freedom for his allies and friends as one blogger claims. Such altruism is not to be found in the soul-fabric of a cunning, self-serving and now selfish and double-crossing megalomaniac.

And how does he support his allegations of corruption in Selangor as “reported” to him by “Chinese businessmen”??!! Why with the same type of spurious arguments and “proof” Kerismudin and Najib offered us which resulted in reporters and opposition MP’s being arrested under the ISA “for their own good”! That’s how! Gut feel and anonymous informers? Bah, what a humbug! He very conveniently remains silent about the 'A' given by the Auditor General to Selangor and Penang for transparency and accountability, not to mention their cash surplus and record FDI's.

At least the so-called paid (from taxpayers' money) UMNO bloggers have nailed their colours to the mast. The core of that group does not change its affiliation like a chameleon.

With such friends as RPK, who needs enemies?

But the plain truth of the matter is we do not need RPK to realise our dreams of a better Malaysia.

It was not RPK who spent years in prison for us (as did Anwar and Guan Eng) or marched downtown in KL to fight for free and fair elections in the face of tear gas, pepper and chemical laced water cannon spray and baton charges, or who has taken Penang and Selangor towards an open government that for 51 years UMNO/BN said was not possible.

In Anwar, Ambiga, Guan Eng, Khalid Ibrahim et al, we have the kind of leadership RPK has never offered us. All RPK has now exposed are his own Machiavellian machinations which are worse than that of (as claimed by RPK) PKR’s Azmin Ali . At least Azmin is a PKR card carrying full time politician from whom RPK could learn a lesson or two about loyalty and the long haul. We can do without "help" from those who snipe and snitch from the safety of Manchester and Phuket

So, RPK, I’m truly sorry. For you, I have only ashes to ashes, dust to dust... to offer. You have lied and misled us once too often to have a shred of credibility anymore, anywhere.

And who am I? Why, just a nobody from the 4 million who will soon bury the thieves, rapists and looters.

MANA ADA SISTEM AIRLINES - MY 2007 NOSTRADAMNIC PREDICTION COME TRUE!

Malaysian newspapers, online news portals and blogs are awash with breaking news that a certain share swap deal between Tony F of AA and major shareholder of Mana Ada Sistem Airlines (MASA), the Great Khazi, is just a precursor to the eventual complete takeover of MASA by TF who will finally be appointed the Managing Director and become the public face of MASA.

Many suspect, and not without considerable justification, that the current situation where TF is a non-independent non-executive director of MASA is just an interim face-saving Ali-Baba arrangement to quell rebellion in the ranks and the natives in the "Malay heartland" (wherever that may, er, east of Kuala Selangor?) getting restless and rioting and looting (in Malaysia, no, never!) a la London and the Arab Spring Movement.

In any event, the deal would make no sense unless TF has been given assurances that for the moment at least, he will be calling and firing the shots from behind the scene regardless of whom the Great Khazi says is the Chairman and the CEO.

Many are against this share swap deal mainly because of the monopoly it will create and the hammering consumers will get from its price fixing.

Nevertheless TF's management and entrepreneurial flair may just be what MASA needs to shake off over 30 years of social welfare-type management style, Government interference and mismanagement and crony and management led plundering and looting that has brought MASA to its knees. A prime example is the allegation that outsourcing of MASA's catering requirements to a relative of a former sleeping prime minister resulted in $2 nasi lemak packets being procured for $20!! More shocking are allegtaions that Indian vegetarian meals cost MASA $200 per set!!??

Forget me not too that Perterjunan Malaysia Berhad (PMB, 100% owned by the Great Khazi/Taxpayer) is said to be saddled with some estimated $10 billion over of re-structuring losses and irrecoverable aircraft leasing charges.

Expect nothing less now than total staff shakeout and management re-structuring and VSS at MASA.TF and the Bina Fcukir boys will be fools if they don't start pruning, chopping, cleaning and clearing. An opportunity like this may not present itself more than once in 50 years!

But, the Taxpayer is entitled to demand the Prime Minister and Government immediately provide clear cut answers to some very vexing questions:

1. How much in total has it costs us to re-structure MASA since a certain TR took over in the '90's?

2. How much irrecoverable loss is PMB carrying and how much are MASA's unpaid debts to PMB?

3. Why is foot-in-mouth Minister for Outlaws, Nazi, championing the case for various government agencies dropping their law suits against TR in favour of a secret settlement for an undisclosed sum (what, OSA classification again?) when there are several police reports by ex-MASA staff accusing TR of fraud, CBT and embezzlement.

The fact that TR, as part of an "attack is the best form of defence" stragedy, has counter sued for $13 billion is irrelevant. The average Ali, Muthu and Chong out there will tell you TR has no case and to call his bluff!

And "mengarah" does not mean "direct" or "order" but "advise"??!! My foot!

No one must be allowed to get away with murder! (How many people remember or know that our former Finance Minister and billonaire Tun Daim Zainuddin and Tajuddin Ramli were once business partners in Raleigh Cycle Berhad in the '80's - refer pg.186 of 'Daim - The Man Behind The Enigma' by Cheong Mei Sui & Adibah Amin).

I had predicted that something like this deal between MASA and Tony F/AA would happen, way back in 2007!

Today I committed suicide.

Why?

Because I was so happy.

Why else would I do it?

See, the plans were all in place. My wedding registration was scheduled for tomorrow. My beautiful wife-to-be is carrying our love-child. Our respect and affection for each other knows no bounds. My best man had arranged for a grand feast and celeberations with family, relatives and friends. Our respective parents had all wonderfully accepted our union proposal and the actual wedding would have taken place some six months hence.

So, I thought to myself, how shall I jubilate?

Then it struck me like a bolt of lightning!

Why, by committing suicide from the 15th Floor Office of Malaysian Association for Cows and Carse of course, silly!

I am angry. More than with anything or anybody else, I am angry with myself. I have for so long been warning everyone that unchecked Federalism and unchallenged UMNO/BN dominance will inevitably lead to a Police State. Few took it seriously. I did not press the panic button hard enough or become militant about it. And that's is my failure.

Now that a Police State has happened upon us, we like Pilate, wring our hands and moan and groan.

Who won on 9th July 2011 is not just relevant, it is of paramount importance. For when history is written and re-written in the years to come, Malaysians and the whole World shall know that many others and I today stood in the presence of GREATNESS which might not quite suffer or pale in comparison if placed alongside that of Mandela, King and Ghandhi.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Super Ambiga!

Daughter, woman, lady, wife, mother, lawyer, human, humane exemplary LEADER and God's child - Ambiga Sreenivasan.

She has burst upon us like a flaming comet from the Kuiper Belt, possibly heralding the birth of a bright new era in Malaysian politics.

She has arrived in a year when they just released a movie of one of my favourite childhood comic book heroes, The Green Lantern. You almost expect her like Hal Jordan/Green Lantern to whip out her Yellow Bersih 2.0 T-shirt and chant:

“In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight.
Let those who worship evil’s might, Beware my power… Yellow T-shirt’s light!“

It does sound a bit corny, I admit. But Ambiga has an Indian ancestry too, and perhaps:

"Long nights ago, a tryst was made with destiny, and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but substantially."

Today I marched with thousand who came not only from all over Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and its suburbs and boondocks but also from Trengganu, Kelantan, Penang, Perak, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan and Johor. Our brothers and sisters from Sarawak and Sabah did not fail us either. There were boys and girls, mothers and fathers and even grandfathers and grandmothers. Some even bravely brought their infant children along to bear witness to the historic occasion. There were mainly Malays and many Indians , Chinese and many Others.

The atmosphere was electric.

Not just the educated, the lawyers and activists and the comfortable or rich and well-connected were there. The baker, the butcher and the candlestick maker had trudged there too. There was even a man with leg in plaster cast hobbling about on crutches and Irene Fernandez in a wheelchair! One other major Ambiga supporter was there as well, keeping a low profile. We shall grant her her the anonymity she desired. All were seething with incandescent rage, all united by three main issues:

1. THE PRIME MINISTER LIED TO BERSIH AND THE NATION AND HE'S STILL IN OFFICE.

2. The police can dictate to our citizens what colour T-shirt they can wear? By what provision in OUR Constitution and Law do they presume to do that? How do they arrogate to themselves such powers and who approved it? What next? A fiat on bras, panties and underwear?

3. Our election system and rules need a major overhaul.

Simmering not far off was the fact that the King of Malaysia had been insulted by Ibrahim Ali questioning his actions in meeting Ambiga and hammering out a compromise and that PM Najib had not been sincere in offering a Stadium venue for Bersih 2.0's march while his cousin, Home Minister Hishamuddin Hussein threw in a technical 'pasang kaki' (leg trip) objection and refused to withdraw Bersih's gazetted outlaw status.

Faced with such blatant duplicity from the PM, Home Minister and The IGP and sledgehammer to fly tactics, the people decided enough was enough and to march, come hell or high water!

This was a watershed peoples' march. On the day, there were no issues of race, religion or class. Although Prime Minister Najib Razak and frog Perkasa demagogue Ibrahim Ali had both demonised Ambiga and overplayed the race and religious (anti-Islam) card in the weeks preceding the historic Bersih 2.0 March of 9th July 2011, the people understood the real issues at hand.

Have no doubt. At the start of today, the distance between the Malaysia Government and its people was at its furthest it has ever been. Not even in 1969 was the nation more divided. At the end of the day, that distance had widened even further!

We no longer trust Prime Minister Najib, his Cabinet, his Government or his administration.

Make no mistake. What the authorities cruelly and unfairly meted out to our fellow citizens today was totally at the behest of Prime Minister Najib, Deputy PM Muhydin and Home Minister Hishamuddin Hussein (long dubbed Kerismudin). It is a degree of reprehensible high handedness that represents a new low in Malaysian rule by law and rule by fear regime.

They turned on water cannons and fired tear gas where none was called for at all. The crowd was excited and boisterous, but not vicious. Yet they were victimised and assaulted. But everyone refused to be cowed by cowardly intimidation tactics.

No Malaysian citizen buys this collective Cabinet cop out that the Inspector General of Police is to be blamed for it all.

How has our Government transformed itself from a people's government to a Stalinist one?

Such malevolent changes never occur overnight. We have to go back to the 1980's to trace its roots.

Every ten years or so the world moves forward by ditching an anachronism. Malaysia has tended to respond to these global changes in perverse contrarian fashion. It has bucked the trend as though confounding behaviour is always a positive virtue.

The Berlin Wall fell in November 1989 foreshadowing the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union and the near annihilation of Communism.

In 1987, Dr. Mahathir anticipated the collapse of the old world order and the Iron Curtain with eerie and uncanny prescience by embarking on Ops Lallang. 106 politicians, most of them from the Opposition, were arrested and jailed without trial under the Internal Security Act (ISA). To mask what was clearly an attempt to stifle opposition to Dr.M's policies, he also had arrested some UMNO MP's - including a then anonymous unknown Ibrahim Ali - all of whom were released shortly thereafter. Lim Kit Siang and Karpal Singh of DAP were served with 2 year detention orders!

Dr.M capped this command performance by sacking Chief Justice Salleh Abbas in 1988 and then said the King had initiated it!

Earlier this year, the then IGP, Hanif Omar, categorically "confirmed" that it was he who sanctioned the 1987 ISA arrests and not Dr.M!

Not surprising then that in the run up to Bersih2.0, PM Najib, DPM Muhyddin and Hishamuddin Hussein re-affirmed the universal law among Parliamentary democracies that elected leaders, MP's and Cabinet members of Government were all subordinates of their respective Inspector Generals of Police!

Has there ever been a more gutless cop out or malodorous BS in the history of the world?

Early this year the world bore witness to the the 'Arab Spring Uprising.' PM Najib was among the first to advise President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt:

“In a democratic system, we must prioritise the people and that is why any solution in Egypt must be based on demands and wants of the people to determine the future of their government.”

Whoa, was he, as is always claimed by Malaysian politicians, misquoted by Zionists, the USA, IMF, World Bank and Singapore intent on interfering in the internal affairs of Malaysia? Naah, it's only 100% true. So, sauce for the goose...sauce for the gander? Naah, not a chance, not in 1Malaysia, 2 Systems.

In his May 2011 speech at Oxford University, PM Najib went one better with:

“Our choice is clear. Come together in action for a future of justice, freedom, hope, compassion and goodwill for our children or it will be replaced by a future of injustice, tyranny, hopelessness, cruelty and hate."

The spindoctoring apparatus never stops. They never say what they mean or mean what they say.

The IGP today claimed only 6,000 protesters took part. But the math doesn't compute - the police arrested nearly a whopping 1,500 or 25% of them? The crowd was actually somewhere in the region of 50,000-100,000 at its peak.

So, to borrow (with due apologies) from Churchill :

Ambiga and her Bersih 2.0 cohorts of 9th July 2011 led us in our finest hour. Never in the history of Malaysian conflict have so many owed so much to so few.

So, Prime Minister Najib, do the decent thing. Do what's right and noble. Redeem yourself. Go see the King tomorrow. Leave Rosmah behind to pack the shoes and suitcases. Submit your resignation letter to him and call for fresh elections immediately.

You are not fit to lead and govern Malaysia 1 day longer than that!

Yes, I know the year has still some six months to go and there might yet emerge some other terrific character who might make it to the number 1 spot in our search for 'Person of The Year.'

But surely there cannot be two better candidates than the charismatic Malaysian King, His Majesty Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang DiPertuan Agung Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Almuktafi Billah Shah who executed a neat carpe diem, and the former Chairperson of the Bar Council and now leader of the 09/07/201 Bersih 2.0 call for free and fair elections, Dato Ms. Ambiga Sreenivasan, who exhibited courage, guts, gumption, savvy and an as cool as cucumber exterior and calmness that put to shame many a seasoned and veteran politician in Malaysia.

Yellow may by the language of the Bard signify cowards. But in Malaysia, since the times of Parameswara of Melaka in 1400 CE, yellow has been the of colour of OUR Royalty.

In the end those who least expected it were royally screwed and caught completely off-guard!

In the face of some Machiavellian machinations and manipulative skulduggery (or so they thought) by the establishment, OUR King responded with an even-handedness that silenced Prime Minister Najib, Home Minister Kerismudin, the Cabinet, UMNO/BN and his entire administration and the IGP, while rendering that vile and foul mouthed agitator, provocateur and demagogue Ibrahim Ali and his PERKASA sycophants to sputtering idiots.

So unexpectedly regal was the Royal pronouncement that Ibrahim Ali and PERKASA let slip their masks to reveal their true hypocritical nature. They dared question His Majesty's decision in agreeing to and subsequently actually meeting up with Ambiga and her 09/07/2011 Bersih 2.0's organizers for a tete-a-tete at the Palace.

Well, I personally don't subscribe to the logic of these les majeste court cases that abound in Thailand.

But, if the police are to be seen to be consistent in their upholding and enforcement of OUR Constitution and laws of Malaysia, then surely Ibrahim Ali and his followers MUST be hauled up and charged with Sedition and inciting racial and religious hatred? Or stand accused of practising double standards!

Especially since they publicly challenged the very ROYAL institution they swore they would protect from insults by "others" and "pendatangs" and have been quick on the draw in alerting the AG's attention to numerous alleged perceived slights directed at OUR Royalty.

After all, Karpal Singh was charged with Sedition (and found not guilty) for merely saying the Perak King can be sued in court. The AG had proceeded with that case based on a police report made by, among others, a slimy Bututsan reporter. True to the pathetic state of education in our country, that reporter later testified in court that by 'ultra vires' he understood it to mean 'insult (the Perak King)'!!??

So, what may well turn out to be the Philosopher King of Utopia's Kallipolis as envisaged by Plato in his 'Republic,' joined forces with a Steel Magnolia and put paid to rest the the possible emergence of a true Police State.

Nipped in the bud (for the moment anyway), as they say!

And who are the losers?

In order of pre-eminence, they are:

1. Unelected PM Najib who played it like a rank amateur and confirmed state sponsored religious bigotry by publicly uttering, "Who doesn't know Ambiga. She's the one who threatened Islam."

PM Najib was of course referring to the Lina Joy case. She, (as do all citizens and others brought before OUR courts) has an inalenable Constitutional right to legal representation, in her case, to have the courts recognize her conversion out of Islam to Christianity. Her right of conversion is also guaranteed by OUR Constitution.

THE FACT IS AMBIGA DID NOT REPRESENT LINA JOY!

It was Dato Dr.Cyrus Vance!! CLICK HERE . And if it had not been him , another lawyer would have had to!

So, where did PM Najib get this piece of deliberately bigoted misinformation which Ibrahim Ali and PERKASA latched on to and quoted from gleefully, albeit in grave error?

If the Prime Minister of our country does not verify information before mouthing false statements, understand the law, and with scant regard for it, makes inflammatory public statements, he's not fit for that August office!

2. Deputy PM Muhy. If OUR King wanted to meet up with Ambiga and the Bersih organizers, who is he to dictate to OUR King and Ambiga/Bersih any pre-conditions?

3. Ibrahim Ali. He has brought Malaysian politics to utter disrepute. Earlier than the PM he made an even more incendiary statement by referring to Ambiga as,"That bloody Hindu woman" thus scoring a hattrick of racial, religiously bigoted and misogynous vilifications.

Of course, Ali did not fail to raise the possibilities of Ambiga/Bersih's possible links to Zionists, Communist USA and other foreign powers who has nothing better to do than intefere in Malaysia's internal affairs.

Just so as to confound those looking for some redeeming qualities in him, Ali also sledged the Bar Council as "bastards" and once again played that favourite card of his and Dr. Mahathir's by raising the bogey spectre of "13th May 1969." Ooh, that scared the King, didn't it?

As an aside, he "only advised" the Chinese to stock up on food and STAY AT HOME!" Heh, heh, heh!

4. The Police. It's time they stopped allowing themselves to being misused by UMNO, PM and Kerismudin as the whipping boys for all the bullying and blatant subversion of the law.

Let me state it very clearly. No leader of any democratic nation which subscribes to the rule of law has ever, with the exception Dr. Mahathir and now Najib, said the cops have authority over freely elected Ministers, Government and Parliament to marshall law and order as they please.

And by no stretch of anyone's imagination could Dr.Jeyakumar and 30 of his party members have proceeded to Penang to "wage war against OUR King" and resurrect Communism, armed to their eyeballs with YELLOW T-SHIRTS, could they? He's a medical doctor for God's sake! Grant him a modicum of intelligence. He did a David on Goliath Samy Velu at GE 2008. You think he got there by having Stalinistic ambitions or being stupid?

OUR King and Najib govern from the Federal Territory of Putrajaya outside Kuala Lumpur and Dr. Jeyakumar headed for Penang to foment revolution?

And that so-called cache of petrol bombs and T-shirts stashed away among some rocks in the boondocks of Bentong. Only an idiot would cart these things all the way from Bentong in Pahang to KL when he could just as well come empty handed and assemble it all fresh here.

The last time the natives got restless and waged war with machetes must have been during that Jurassic era when they still wore grass skirts.

Wake up, IGP! It's not worth gaining the whole world only to lose your soul!

5. Bit players like Khairudin Jamaludin and UMNO Youth saved themselves embarrassing blushes after the King's intervention. They mouthed what sounded pretty much like an apology and withdrew their planned copy cat march.

6. There is also that shallow and scurillous Masjid India gold peddling blogger who sounded more panicked than the rest of the nation, demanding Amibiga and Bersih members be arrested under the ISA. He insulted her as being as 'still new from the plantation.' Well Mr. Righteous who always quotes from the Koran, Ambiga's father was a kidney specialist at Pantai Medical centre and her uncle, Justice Gopal Sri Ram. They could probably tell you a thing or two about some Indian Muslims claiming to be Bumiputra and Malay and freely and shamelessly giving unsolicited advise to the Malays on what is adat and what is adab!

As for Ambiga and Bersih, 2 step forward, 1 step back is still progress. Here are some classic sayings and cliches for more inspiration:

Even a root can cleave and rent asunder a giant boulder.

And to those who were illegally arrested for wearing yellow T-shirts and/or remanded/charged, MILLIONS salute your courage. We are in awe of your commitment to secure democracy and free elections in this land WE all love so much.

You are OUR true heroes.

So, WE will turn up in full force with our families to support you in whichever Stadium and have a peaceful, but joyous, noisy celebratory PARTAY! We will do so even if it is held underwater, in outer space or in a black hole. That much we GUARANTEE!

I made one, and my family another stupendous decision today.

First, I decided to go yellow on the blog. ROS and Kerismudin, please take note!

My family then spoke to our daily newspaper delivery boy this morning and gave him the bad news. We decided to cancel with immediate effect our subscriptions to the Star, Sunday Star and the Sunday Times (NST Group).

We felt nothing but regret and sorrow. For the delivery boy, that is. We'd known him for over 10 years.

For the spinmeisters, we felt nothing but contempt, loathing and disgust.

I was particularly incensed after reading excerpts in these cat litterliners that DSAI was guilty of a crime, er..., what exactly I don't know.

It had been alleged by the AG, his deputy AND Defence Counsel in open court that certain unknown "experts" in USA and/or Korea had identified DSAI 99.99% as a participant in an a sex video by using high tech facial and body identification techniques.

Hard evidence was not presented by anyone since DSAI was nowhere named as a party to the case! Oh, you beauty!

(About a year or two ago, it was for that precise reason that the Court of Appeals expunged certain statements from a judgement made by Judge Sri Ram that mentioned Tun Daim Zainuddin - that Tun was not a party to the relevant court case and should not have been been implicated when he could not legally defend himself! That's my amateur interpretation of that matter).

Certain choice expressions leap to mind:

1. Kangaroo Court ( I mean, why did the Honourable judge allow it or not expunge wild flying allegations?)
2. Trial by Innuendo
3. Trial by Media
4. Conspiracy

What's even more beautiful is that a defence lawyer expressed being mega impressed with a former CM's credentials. That former CM was once accused of having sex with a minor, which constitutes STATUTORY RAPE. In that instance, the Government through the AG later withdrew the charges.

I could be wrong, but I vaguely recall that several others were charged and convicted of having sex with the same minor!

It was also the instance when a DAP politician, now CM of Penang, was sent to prison. Here is the summary of that sordid episode in M'sian legal history when a man was sent to prison for defending an under-aged Malay girl on a matter of principle. "Lim was arrested by Malaysian police in 1994, following his criticism of the government's handling of allegations of statutory rape of one of his constituents by former Chief Minister of the state of Melaka, Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik.

Consequently, while the Attorney General decided not to charge Rahim Thamby Chik, Lim was charged under Section 4(1) (b) of the Sedition Act 1948 for causing 'disaffection with the administration of justice in Malaysia'.

Lim was also charged under Section 8A (1) of the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1984 for 'maliciously printing' a pamphlet containing allegedly 'false information' because he had described the alleged rape victim as an 'imprisoned victim' because she was initially detained by Malaysian police without parental consent for 10 days.

During the judicial procedure, Lim was quoted saying:

“	If I fail and have to go to jail, I have no regrets. I have no regrets of going down fighting for the principles of truth and justice. And pursuit of human rights, especially women's rights. There can be no women's rights if women rape victims are considered equally responsible, and even detained, whilst the accused remain free.	”

After a series of appeals, Lim was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment. He was, however, released after 12 months on August 25, 1999. I am not so naive as to think that all newspapers embrace the middle path. British newspapers like Times, Guardian and Daily Telegraph all lean towards one political party or another and such is also the case with dailies in USA, Singapore, Australia, you name it.

But I am also reminded of how our some years ago our NST tried to influence voters by front paging a photo of Tengku Razaleigh wearing a Kadazan hat which was spun as him promoting Christianity! That was really scraping the barrel. So, there is a limit that must not be crossed!

Oh for sure too, the STAR and NST are not going to file for bankruptcy from my cancelling my subscription to their publications.

But, it's my and my wife's hard earned money. We've had enough of lies, lies and more lies.

So, we opened the windows to our home and shouted out for all the world to hear:

YES PRIME MINISTER- ONE OF US PART 1 - 3

These are the INDISPUTABLE facts as we know them. So let's stick to them, i.e. the FACTS.

1. Sometime after 2000 when Najib Tun Razak (now Prime Minister) was re-appointed Defence Minister, the Malaysian Government/Ministry of Defence awarded a contract for the purchase of 2 Scorpene Class Submarines to French DCNS naval shipbuilders, through Armaris in partnership with Navantia of Spain, both state owned companies.

2. The cost of the contract which has now been fulfilled, is estimated at RM6.7 billion (exchange rate 1 Euro=RM5) as follows:

Submarines-Euro 969,000,000 =RM4,845,000,000
Missiles etc-Euro 257,000,000 =RM1,270.000,000
Co-ordination & Support Service Fees Euro114,000,000 =RM 570,000,000

3. The co-ordination and support service fees were paid to Perimekar S/B, a Malaysian company originally owned and controlled by Razak Baginda and his wife, magistrate Mazalinda through Ombak Laut S/B which was subsequently divested to Boustead Holdings Bhd Plc (BHB). Baginda was head of a Government sponsored think-tank and a close advisor and friend of Najib. The Government, MINDEF, Navy and a Public Accounts Committee inquiry have satisfied themselves that all proper Government procurement rules, regulations and procedures were adhered to in the award of the contract to Baginda and that it was NOT a Commission.

4. Perimekar was only incorporated in 2001 shortly before the submarine contract was finalised.

5. It is now claimed by some parties that the fees were paid to Perimekar by the Malaysian Government and not by DCNS.

6. The cost of the submarines does not include an annual maintenance contract of RM50 million for 10 years recently awarded to BousteadDCNS, a subsidiary of BHB OR a 20-year escape, search and rescue contract estimated at RM100 million per year i.e. RM 2 billion over 20 years!

7. Allegations about Perimekar and Boustead's qualification and ability to undertake and perform these massive contracts have been questioned as a sham arrangement by Joseph Breham from a team of French lawyers, as well as by French MP’s and politicians who have filed an inquiry with French courts over charges that DCNS indulged in bribery and paid out huge (illegal) kickbacks routinely in such submarine construction and sales contracts. CLICK HERE . DCNS has been fined hundreds of millions of dollars for such irregularities in Taiwan, Pakistan and USA.

8. In 2006 the remains of a Mongolian national, ex-model and translator, Altantuya Shaarribuu, were found in a forest in Shah Alam, Selangor. She had apparently been shot through the head and her body blown up with plastic C4 explosives.

9. Following police investigations, Razak Baginda and two others, Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri, 30, and Corporal Sirul Azahar Umar,35, from the Unit Tindakan Khas or Malaysian Special Action Force Counter Terrorism Unit, were charged with Altantuya's murder. Azilah and Sirul had both been assigned to PM Najib's (deputy PM at the time of the murder) office as his bodyguards.

10. Testimony in court revealed that Altantuya had accompanied Baginda on several trips to France, had an affair with him and arrived in KL demanding US$500,000 from Baginda or threatened to tell all. Baginda was harassed at his home and office by Altantuya and her sisters.

11. Aide-De-Camp to PM Najib, Musa Safri was apparently the officer who had called the three cops who carted Altantuya away in their squad car from outside Razak Baginda’s home.

10. Spotted also outside the gates of Baginda’s house in his car shortly before Altantuya left in the company of Azilah, Sirul and Lance Corporal Rohaniza (Sirul’s lover) was Nasir Safar, a long-time special aide to Najib Razak who in 2010 was forced to resign his post (although to his credit he issued an apology) after making a racist speech about Indians coming to Malaysia as beggars and the Chinese, especially the women, coming here to sell their bodies.

12. At the trial which stretched from June 2007 to April 2009, the following were determined:

Azilah testified that it was Musa Safri who asked him to contact Baginda to help him out with a “problem.”

Sirul’s confession that he and Azilah were offered RM100,000 to “take care” of Altantuya and other revelations were not allowed to be admitted into evidence by the presiding judge. Neither Azilah nor Azilah testified as to who made the offer to them.

Azilah and Sirul maintained till the end they did not kill Altantuya.

Altantuya’s sister had testified that records of their visit to Malaysia had been erased by Malaysian Immigration and she had seen a photograph of PM Najib, Razak, Altantuya and others having lunch in Paris. PM Najib subsequently took an Islamic oath that he had never met Altantuya personally.

Razak Baginda, whose lawyer read out an opening statement in which Baginda admitted to the affair with Altantuya, claimed he did not order Altantuya’s murder or have anything to do with it. During a break in the hearing, Baginda had gone berserk shouting ‘Die Pak Lah (M’sian PM up to April 2009) fuelling speculation that some sort of deal was being worked out behind the scenes.

Baginda was found innocent and acquitted of all charges without his defence being called.

Azilah and Sirul were found guilty of murder and sentenced to death by hanging. The matter is still pending finality as their appeals against conviction have not been heard.

13. Subsequently, an ex-cop and private investigator, PI Bala, engaged earlier by Baginda to assist and protect him from the blackmailing Altantuya tendered a Statutory Declaration at a press conference claiming, among other matters, that Baginda had told him PM Najib had introduced Altantuya to him and that Musa Safri was fully implicated in Altantuya’s disappearance. Following a visit to the Brickfields Police Station that same evening Bala completely withdrew his first SD the next morning by the device of a second SD denying all earlier allegations. Shortly afterwards, he then fled to India with his family amid swirling rumours he had been paid $5 million to retract his incendiary original SD after negotiations with parties (friends) purportedly linked to PM Najib’s wife and one of Najib’s brothers acting as intermediaries.

14. Then Bala followed up from somewhere overseas with a third SD and information claiming he had only been paid some RM800,000, been cheated of the rest and that his first SD was the true one which he had been coerced into withdrawing under duress!

15. Next, a weeks ago, “Pete” Raja Petra Kamaruddin, who set the nation on fire with his original 2008 posting at http://mt.m2day.org/2008/content/view/6604/84/ “Let’s Send The Altantuya Murderers To Hell” cleared up the misunderstanding that he had accused PM Najib and his wife of direct complicity in Altantuya’s killing in an interview with TV3. Clearly his SD opens with “I have reliably been informed...” which means it was based on hearsay from third parties. But the MSM, many bloggers, web surfers and even the police read what they wanted to read. Pete who was forced into exile in 2009 is now being vilified for his naivete in granting the interview which TV3 chose to air a day before elections in Sarawak and accused of “selling out” to the UMNO/BN Government led by PM Najib.

That’s it in a nutshell!

So, here are some questions that have been plaguing not just me, but I dare say, millions, and not just Malaysians alone:

1. Why were and still appear to be so, the police and AG not keen on finding out who gave the orders to kill Altantuya and establish clearly the motive(s) for her murder?

2. Why didn’t the AG appeal the acquittal of Razak Baginda as is the usual case with such prosecutions? The judge may have presumed that there was no case for Baginda to answer, but what does the AG say about the well put question “you mean two cops woke up one fine morning and decided to off a previously unknown to them Mongolian lady with C4 explosives, just like that?” Surely, the bizarre matter of the body being blown up with C4 explosives suggests some dark, hidden motive for the killers?

3. What was Razak Baginda’s experience and track record in defence and submarine procurement and maintenance that he should have been awarded a RM 570 million “co-ordination and support service fee”? Was it by open tender?

4. What were the scope of these “services” and when and how were the “services” performed and fulfilled?

5. Why was the payment of RM 570 million made IN FULL BEFORE the two Scorpene Submarines were delivered in recent years?

6. In the wake of massive evidence that DCNS has been involved in bribery and huge kickbacks in sham deals, why hasn’t our MACC and police advanced with swift investigations in Malaysia?

7. Why has the impression been given to Malaysian citizens that at the trial, the DPP AND the defence worked in concert to avoid any mention of any link between Altantuya and PM Najib? It’s just a perception, but it’s surely there!

8. What was Razak Baginda’s outburst and threat against ex-PM Abdullah Badawi all about?

9. Who normally has access to C4 explosives in Malaysia?

10. Have any investigations been undertaken to verify if immigration records were indeed erased, and if so, what is the outcome, please? If it is true, who ordered it and with what intention?

11. Who “advised” PI Bala into withdrawing his first SD at Brickfields Police Station?

12. What were the involvement of Musa Safri, who was never called as a witness in the trial, and Nasir Safar in the events leading to Altantuya being spirited away from outside Razak Baginda’s home?

13. A couple of blogs have published purported transcripts of handphone conversations between PM Najib and Razak Baginda's lawyer. Aren’t the police interested in investigating this matter?

I ask these questions not as a kind of cyber Taliban hell bent on tarnishing the good name of our Government and its leaders, but that the resolution of wicked, wanton premeditated murder cannot and must not be mired in continual perception of a MASSIVE COVER UP and that someone got away with bloody murder!

We are tired, no exhausted, by the breathtaking scale of fraud, thievery, embezzlement and looting for which accountability and equally important, prosecution and recovery seem to be nil. More cover ups seem to be in in progress with $12 billion free trade zone ponzi schemes and suspect awards of multi-billion dollar defence contracts for jet planes, helicopters, armoured-wheeled patrol tanks, offshore patrol boats and ships and the like as well other Government and GLC linked procurement involving buses, trains, aircrafts and contracts for construction of bridges and buildings and directly negotiated property development projects involving Government land.

We are puzzled by vague $10 billion property development projects and $36 billion MRT projects ballooning to a hastily revised $50 billion within a month being sold to us though we are talking about confetti and cornflakes. Broken and bust public listed companies linked to provision of “free lunch” services all sound like the same spindoctor driven bulldozing techniques of authoritarian regimes elsewhere. We are aghast at radiation spewing rare earth projects finding their way to our shores while rejected without a moment’s hesitation by the home country of its proponents, Australia!!

So, increasingly, instead of consulting and consensus we see pretence and spindoctoring. Thus "We are the market leader in Malaysia in Identity verification with over 170 organisation..." Wow, really? Why then has this Plc accumulated losses of nearly $17 million from mainly servicing Government departments and been placed on its de-listing roll call by the KLSE? Invested in R&D without first working out marketing strategies and projecting sales revenues on a reasonable basis first? Is this how Plc's in Malaysia normally work? More spin? In reality, unless the EPF and Government Departments are not strong-armed, they have no reason whatsoever to channel this monopolistic business to a financially and management-wise suspect outsourcing outfits or need to when their own IT Departments can provide the same service if needs be, maintain strict confidentiality and security, and still save oodles of internal overhead costs even more, do they? It sure as hell looks like, smells like and feels like a Government bailout, possibly with elements of nepotism and cronyism thrown in. Three other large shareholders in this Plc are CIMB through Commerce Tech Ventures Bhd (15.45%), Maybank through Mayban Venture Capital Company S/B (9.52%) and Heitech Padu S/B (5.86% of which 23.77% is owned by PNB). Of course, the Drivers will deny it. But why then was a Government Department involved in calling for and assessing tenders if it was "a wholly private sector initiative"?

So, yes PM Najib, shall we call for another Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) to resolve once and for all the ALTANTUYA DEBACLE? Even here we have severe doubts. The findings and recommendations of two successive RCI’s in 2008/09, the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) and The Lingam Tapes Inquiry, have not been acted by your Administration which surely places our King in an embarrassing position. The impression given is that they will NEVER be acted upon by your Administration So, how dare we hope the establishment will take the bull by the horns over Altantuya?

If parenthood is all about being proper role models to our children and leaving behind a sound and lasting legacy, then Governing a nation is about securing agreement for moving forward through consensus. Oh yes, LKY and Dr.Mahathir do not much believe in genuine consultation and consensus because they feel the mass of their people don't have the intelligence to deserve to be consulted and that, anyway, they are all Communists hell bent on destroying progress.

But most like me in Malaysia are not. We are not Communists, racists or religious bigots hell bent on destroying anything other than ignorance, racism, religious bigotry, forced social polarization and the development of a totalitarian state.

So, yes PM Najib, are you game for genuine reforms and justice or will it continue with one set of rules for others and another set for “ONE OF US"?

PARAMESWARA'S SWORD - CURA SI MANJA KINI

I recently stumbled upon the fact that there is in the possession of the Sultan of Perak and the Perak Royal Family some astounding relics of antiquity that in all probability have an extremely significant bearing on the question of Malaysian identity and history.

One such astonishing artifact is the sword Cura Si Manja Kini or Chora Samanda Kian mentioned in John Leyden's 1810 Malay Annals or Sejarah Melayu (published in 1821 by Sir Stamford Raffles). The same sword is said to have been used during the installation of Parmeswara as ruler of Melaka in 1400.

But in fact, its origins go further back, possibly 200-400 years earlier than 1400.

The sword was part of the regalia of a Indian/Hindu prince linked to the Chola Kings (Raja Cholan) from South India, i.e. Nila Utthaman/Sri Tri Buana/Sang Nila Utama (founder of Singapore) narrated in the Sejarah as having landed on Mt. Segantang Maha Meru in Palembang, Sumatra together with two other princes, Vichitram and Karna Pandita, and a probable Brahmin Priest, Bat'h, exact date unknown!

Now, Bat'h is a pretty unusual name for an Indian and perhaps it's a truncated form of Vadhyar (Tamil for priest), Vadh, which became Bat'h, in the same way Vichitram is spelt in the Sejarah as Bichitram. This is consistent with the fact that the Malay language generally does not have old words that commence with the letter 'V' and 'B' was substituted.

The Sejarah relates that it is this self-same sword that was used by the borrower (from Nila Utthaman/Sri Tri Buana/Sang Nila Utama) and champion warrior Peramas Cumambang to slay the serpent monster Saktimuna (Sakatimuna/Ichktimani) into 3 parts in Minangkabau, Sumatra. In the process the sword became etched with 190 notches which strange "clue" of Dan Brown and da Vinci Code proportions, no Indonesia or Malaysian historian or anyone else has ever deciphered!

The list of relics, other than Cura Si Manja Kini, dating anywhere from 600-1,000 years includes:

Royal Collar (15th century) said to have been presented by the Emperor of China
Dokong or Kerongsang Besar (Neck Pendent)
Cap Lalulintar (Royal Silver Seal) of Sultan Muhammad Shah (Melaka) and Kayu Gampit mentioned in Sejarah Melayu. (The Royal Lance, Limbuar appears to be missing)
Betel Boxes
Mestika Embun (Bezoar of Dew)
Kancing Halkah (Royal Collar Ornament)
Kris Taming Sari (originally said to belong to Hang Tuah).

So, how did all these relics from Palembang and Melaka end up in the custody of the Perak Royalty?

After the fall of Melaka on 24th April 1511 to Portugal led by Alphonso de Alburquerque, Melaka's last ruler, Sultan Mahmud Shah eventually made his way to Kampar in Sumatra where he died in 1528. One of the sultan's two sons, Muzzafar Shah journeyed to Perak where he was installed the first Sultan in 1528. The other son, Alauddin Riayat Shah, was installed as the 1st SuItan of Johor. Thus historically, Melaka gave rise to four sultanates in Malaya i.e. Johor, Perak, Pahang and Selangor!! It was Sultan Muzzafar Shah who brought with him the artifacts which had been handed down to his father, Sultan Mahmud.

The inscriptions on Cura Sa Manjani Kini in Sanskrit are said to come from the the words "Churiga Si Mandakini" which means "the blade from Lake Mandakini of the Ganges (River) in India!! Refer to Sembangkuala's blog for more details. click here.

And what is the link between the Chiri of Perak, nobat players and Bat'h the Brahmin Priest cum charitra or cheritra teller in the Sejarah (pg. c4/23 - 25 John Leyden's Sejarah Melayu)? Click here and refer to the document below extracted from the Sejarah and a translation of it from page 175 of 'A History of Perak' by R.O.Winstedt and R.J.Wilkinson published by The Malaysian Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society (MBRAS): :

In short, Bat'h had recited the lineage of the 3 Indian/Hindu princes who landed in the mountains of Palembang to Demang Lebar Daun, the aboriginal chief and his people in Sanskrit !! Astonishing, is it not?

The Sejarah clearly states Parameswara was buried in Tanjung Tuan (Cape Rachado) near Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan (in Malaysia). It is Demang Lebar Daun and Nila Utthaman/Sri Tri Buana/Sang Nila Utama who are reputed to have actually been buried in Fort Canning, Singapore!!

There is therefore some serious error with the claim that Parameswara was buried in Fort Canning (Bukit Larangan) in Singapore. Click here for Keramat Iskandar, Singapore details. It absolutely makes no sense that Parameswara would be buried in Singapore when he originally fled from there in fear of his life, before founding Melaka!!).

The time has come for the Singapore Government to initiate investigations to identify through modern scientific procedures such as carbon dating, DNA testing etc., exactly who is buried in Keramat Iskandar and Fort Canning.

Some of these artifacts and regalia must be at least a thousand years old and there is not a shadow of a doubt about their links to Parameswara and the Melaka Sultanate of the 15th and early 16th century, Indonesia and INDIA!

So, why haven't our Government and Department of Antiquities engaged an archaeologist and expert in Sanskrit and Indian languages/dialects and South East Asian history (and there must literally be hundred of them in India) as well as China counterparts to piece together what must surely be THE story of the century?

In particular, the Sanskrit inscriptions on Parameswara's sword need to be investigated in depth!

So, why the leaden footedness? Too busy "interloked" in controversies?

As the ghost of Banquo did to Macbeth, Anwar seems to haunt the collective bad conscience of the leaders of our ruling party and their supporters like an itch that simply won’t go away, ever. And like the ‘D’ Grade movie that it surely is, the plotters of the latest ‘expose’ on Anwar toiled and troubled to produce a damp squib in 1M (not Israel) land.

What exactly were these plotters up to? I mean, even the CIA and MOSSAD will not use 2 cameras for entrapment; if they have to leave in a hurry, having to dismantle 4 cameras in a hotel room would dangerously slow them down. It would be an operational nightmare and unwarranted risk.

But this is done to capture the action in ‘slo mo’ from a multiplicity of angles so that the audience can climax in its pursuit of vicarious thrill from blood and gore spatter and spurt on giant screens. So, 4 cameras seem like huge overkill for Anwar and mind you, a hotel room does not have that many places for even single camera concealment without being discovered easily – it’s usually in the ceiling or behind the dressing table mirror.

So, who has such connections and power to mount a covert operation even MOSSAD would take its hat off to? And convene hacks from the top MSM for a superbly organized porn screening at Carcosa Sri Negara, formerly the British High Commissioner’s Official Residence and now fully owned by 1M (not Israel) Government?

1. What was he doing in a fcuk shop?

2. He was a trusted aide. Huh? Come again?

3. He "stumbled" upon a camera while (as Anwar’s aide apparently) searching for allegedly, Anwar’s Omega watch. How did he know there were 4 cameras then? Was he snooping around for 3 more Omega watches?

4. Video shot in black and white. In today’s world? What, they were hoping to submit it as a ‘noir’ entry at Cannes?

5. How did he remove all the evidence and watch if he was just Anwar’s aide and “stumbled” upon the scenario. The original plotters and hotel management caved in totally to our half-assed, half masked Caped Crusader?

6. What happened to the pimp who procured the so-called ‘woman of leisuee’ and the lady herself?

7. Why did he not go the police first or, er, like Saiful, the Prime Minister?

What really were Datuk T and his cabal hoping to achieve?

In 1M (not Israel):

1. We had a lawyer deny at a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) he was the person seen in a video recording attempting to fix the appointment of judges despite testimony from the cameraman himself. After some 2 years, 1M (not Israel) government has not proceeded with prosecutions despite the RCI clearly recommending it do so.

2. A senior Minister was caught on film having extra-marital sex with a woman. The Minister confessed to his ‘inappropriate’ actions and resigned his post. The AG did not prosecute and the Minister then famously went on to become leader of his Party!

Notice too, the desperation. Datuk T and the plotters want Datin Wan Azizah, Anwar’s wife to quit PKR and politics? What is she guilty of that she cannot lead the nation if she gets elected and wants to? What are they really afraid of?

If anything, it will paint the government in a blacker picture than it already is and prove that Sodomy1, Sodomy II and now Macbeth 2 involves a continuing conspiracy of and by, if not some rogue elements from the corridors of government, then, the government itself, wouldn't it?

Were they hoping in their desperation to force DNA out of Anwar in an ensuing police investigation and kill two birds with 1 stone. Or “Wag The Dog’ and influence voters in the Sarawak elections?

How stupid do they think our citizens are? Do they really think that a judge should break with sensible long established Constitution, law and rules and become police investigator, prosecutor, jury and executioner to make up for police and prosecutorial incompetency and bias? And how can the judge, when Anwar has not been called to the stand and testified to anything? Whatever happened to the PRINCIPLE of 'presumtpion of innocence until proven guilty'?

If anything, the latest shenanigans will enhance Anwar’s chances of claiming the ultimate prize in his march to Putrajaya!!
