WHY HAS THE ATTORNEY GENERAL ALLOWED UMNO-CONNECTED & NAJIB'S LAWYER 32 MONTHS GRACE TO APPEAR IN COURT, IN MAY 2021, TO ANSWER RM9.5 MILLION MONEYLAUNDERING (AMLA) CHARGES AND FAILURE TO DECLARE THIS SUM TO THE INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT?

Lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah pleaded not guilty in SEPTEMBER 2018 to 2 charges of unlawfully receiving RM9.5 MILLION in SEPTEMBER 2013 and FEBRUARY 2014 from ex-Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.

Reports published by Sarawak Report allege that this money was part of amounts missing from the books of 1MDB and/or SRC, both 100% Ministry of Finance owned companies. Najib was then also the Finance Minister.

First, Shafee claimed that it was "nonsense" that he had been paid from 1MDB/SRC's missing funds. Then, he explained that the RM9.5 million was payment to him for legal services rendered over several years to UMNO/BN and that he had utilised it to help out a friend who needed a new house. He did not clarify why UMNO/BN's legal expenses had to be paid by Najib from his personal bank account. CLICK HERE.

It's bad enough that Najib, pending his appeal, has been allowed to walk about freely while undermining Pakatan Harapan despite being convicted in July 2020 for corruption and sentenced to 72 years jail plus a fine of RM210 MILLION.

Now, Shafee has being given 32 months grace before he finally appears in court???!!!###@@@*** Is this normal or is some kind of double standard being applied? WTF is going on?

The Attorney General Idris Harun, Chief Justice, #NotMyPM and Deputy Law Minister Takiyuddin (from PAS) must all be held accountable for this fiasco. Where is justice being seen to be done? Is this simply not appallingly and scandously outrageous?
